Very good store for this part of LA. Pretty much all of two walls is taken up by a series of beer coolers. Good variety. Lots of West Coast stuff, but also a smattering of other US breweries and imports. Some nice finds, including bottles of Scotch-barrel & Brandy-barrel Abyss. Service was brisk and efficient.

better than average selection when i went there a few years back for a beer no one else had. otherwise, pretty standard liquor store/bottle shop. They advertised what they had accurately, which is nice.

Well hell, I am glad that t0rin0 reviewed this so that it shows up on the app, cause I never would have come looking otherwise, and this place is a bit of a diamond in the rough! I did not have any problems parking at 6PM Sunday, but I can see it being a pain at other times. The beer is in the back, much of it in the wall of coolers, but a few shelves of non-refrigerated stuff as well. A lot of commonplace locals, but some really cool stuff mixed in as well, including a long time want of mine, and a couple remaining bottles of Spaghetti Western and some Fyodors Classic. Prices are reasonable. Defininitely worth a stop if you are anywhere nearby.

It wasn’t until I got back to the car from Link-n-hops that I realized that this was across the street. And as with a lot of liquor stores I wasn’t expecting much but they do have a decent selection. It was a fairly random selection but I was still impressed, especially since the outside of the place looks like it’s from the 50’s. Inside I found an aisle of beer and a dozen fridge doors of beer. They have a few vintage things like several years of Avery’s Czar imperial stout and both the 2011 and 2012 Stone Vertical Epic. I saw several offerings from Jolly Pumpkin, Cascade, Stone collaboration series, Imperial Eclipse, Bruery, Uinta Crooked Line, Mikkeller, Lost Abbey, Chimay, Strand, Logsdon, and a bunch of others. Prices were all a buck or two higher than they should be but it’s a good selection so probably worth it. For some reason all Iron Fist beers were 25% off. Parking is a pain here but it’s worth a stop at least once.
