Really quiet just after it opened at 20 o’clock (maybe just because it was Easter? But still we visited on a Saturday). Fair selection on tap, including one custom made sour (Diskoteket Weissflog / Disko Sour). For some reason no tap list on the wall (because of the law!?). But well stocked refrigerators with interesting stuff. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere in the early evening hours.
It is a discotheque!!! Don’t go there on a Friday night - loads of drunk young males, bumping into u when u’re trying to make a tick. Friendly and fast serving vs the situation. Great selection but as on most of the other places the best beers are hidden away in one corner.
Despite the name, this is not a discotheque, just a craft beer bar and one of the best spots in town. On the Tuesday evening we were there, there wasn’t a single other customer in the two hours we were there. Lots of beers on tap, mostly locals but also some imports. Bottle list is quite impressive, with over 100 to choose from. Prices are par for the course in Norway. Service was extremely friendly and generous with samples. A must hit stop in Trondheim.
OK place for good Norwegian micros, during my visit, there was no new beers for my on tap, but they sure have an extended selection on bottles, great service, the place itself is a strange mix between restaurant, nightclub and a slick bar.
Oh my godness. I know where I will be most of the time whenever I visit Trondheim from now to eternity. Do not bother about the name. No f### dico place. The tap line here is just heaven sent. They will have to carry you out if you try to taste everything the same evening....
This is by far the best place to get craftbeer in Trondheim at the moment. 12 taps with crafts + around 100 bottles to choose from. The place is sort of a mix between a club and a beer place, thus it might be smart to go there early if you are not into loud music and lots of people. On fridays they have ’monkey friday’ which is cheap, but very good, stew made with local ingredients. They open at 4pm on fridays.

This place is a mix of a pub and a nightclub. If you’re in it for the beer, show up when it opens at 20:00, and you will have a few hours tasting good beers before the party kicks off. They’re just getting in to craft beer, so don’t expect the staff to know more than you about beer, but that’s ok. 5ish craft-taps and around 50 selected bottles. Lots of nice norwegian, belgian, dutch and american micros available. Fair prices. They also have original La Rulles, Emelisse etc. glasses. Nifty. Would rather go here than than the redicculus Naboen. Music’s a bit loud, tho.
DON’T GO TO THIS BAR. Even if the customers and the people serving the beverages are nice, this is possible the worst bar I have ever been to. I was sitting there in a chair silently drinking my beer and after a while, probably since I was not dancing or talking, one of the guards seemed to jump to the conclusion i was too drunk, he grabbed me and my beer and threw me out. I was very surprised, but he was not a talkative person. I told him I was just relaxing but he probably thought I was so drunk I was about to fall asleep. I had certainly not been drinking too much. Well, I have done mistakes at my work too, and i understand that nobody is perfect, but I would highly recommend that the owner of this bar think about what kind of people/company they pay to take care of the security there. Maybe educate them a little? Why throw out a good customer who behaves perfectly well and doesn’t cause any problems at all? Guess it simply was not my lucky day. Maybe I just happen to look similar to his x-girlfriends new boyfriend or something.
