Medium-sized bar (not a brewpub) well located with pretty dark interior. Good selection of Italian micros including their own contracted beers. Solid selection of international bottles, good service. Good place to visit.
Visited this oasis 9-11 July. We were in Florence for a family wedding and I couldn’t believe my luck that this was only 50 yards from our apartment. 14 micros on tap, most €5 a pint with Pils only €4. Great selection including sours, black IPAs, wheats. Service very good & helpful. Interior was dark but good selection of blues and R&B playing. Only downside was the TV.
A neat, dark hole in the wall place south of the Arno River. Grunge Rock playing, very dark interior, old kitschy movie posters, loud friendly crowd. The bartender was helpful and knowledgeable. The only handicap is that the brews are only average. Flights are available.
Nice little "hole-in-the-wall" brewpub, centrally located in Florence (absolutely within walking distance from Ponte Vecchio...:-) ). A bit dark in the inner room and bar. Decent selection of local brews, tried the Hydra IPA and Melyssa golden honey ale, and guest beers. Good value for money, € 5 for a pint (June -16) with a basket of ready salted crisps. In comparison, that’s cheaper than a standard light beer pint (without crisps) up in the "tourist ghetto", but this is sooo much better tasting beer...:-)
Good play serving 3/4 beers from the archea brewery and the remaining taps with guest beers .. 2 guys behind the bar serving to the local crowd .. Attentative service and good vibes .. Don’t know if they serve food .. A good place to visit !
