A short walk from Simmzy’s. Beer list here is not extensive by any means and the selection is primarily common beers that one could buy at any beer shop. Best option on my visit was Sculpin. Prices are okay on beer, mostly $6-$7, which seems to be the norm these days. Food prices are a bit higher, but the food did look and smell excellent. They offer flights here, but seems sort of silly unless you are relatively new to trying beers. Would probably stick to booze and food if I came back here.

2nd street restaurant that can get pretty busy on week nights. Very solid food and good cocktails. Beer list was fine, nothing outstanding, but good stuff from the likes of Firestone Walker, Ballast Point, Green Flash and Stone. Overall a pretty solid restaurant with some good craft taps. Prices are high but not startling.

This s a great place to enjoy some good food and a specialty craft beer or two. Great Patio for people watching and you and your date will dig the vibe.

This is a great "gastropub" on 2nd St. The trend seems to be that everyone says they are a gastropub but this place really is. It’s got a New York loft feel with exposed brick and old school Edison? light bulbs hanging down. The food is the biggest surprise about this place, seriously awesome food. I always start with a new rotating beer and the Beef Oxtail Poutine (best I’ve had). My favorite burger is the Black/Blue burger (another best). My friends rave about the sweet potato fries, Short Rib Burger and Ahi Burger. To be honest, the beer selections on tap are too few with only 8 but from what I keep hearing they are adding a bar with 30 taps. If that happens this place will earn an even higher rating. They try to make up for it by having about 40 craft beers in bottles, but I prefer taps. I still highly recommend this spot since its not like the other chain style places popping up. Oh, and they generally have a really good looking staff, which is nice.
