Great shop in a lively region of Marseille. As mentioned previously, the staff were outstanding. It was only Vanessa when I went in but she was on electric form. Chatty, welcoming and incredibly warm. Great selection of beers (particularly for Marseille). At one point, Vanessa couldn’t find a price for a beer so she just gifted it to me. I really insisted on paying but she was adamant. A bottle of tsjeeses. I owe her one...
Nice clean store well located 10 minutes from the train station on foot with luggages. Service couldn’t be more friendly. Vanessa (the owner) and Remy were awesome, funny and generous. They just received some bottles from a Lyon brewery when I entered and they opened two of the bottles (750 ml each) to share with me and even gave me some bread. The store was supposed to close at 1 p.m., but we continue to drink beers (the two above + others) until 2 p.m. The brewers from Brasserie de la Plaine (just 100 meters away from the store) even joined us. The owner even offered me to leave my luggage at the store and showed me the directions to next place I wanted to go. Selection is very good for a French beer store. A good amount of Belgian beers (including some Cantillon), French beers and even some De Molen, Haandbryggeriet ande other foreign beers. Price were good for France. Overall, visiting this store was a great experience. If you are in the area, this is the place to go. Take the time to talk with Vanessa and Remy, you won’t regret it.

We visited here today Saturday 16th June 2013, whilst staying locally in Cassis in Frank, (camper) The shop is situated on a corner and is fairly easy to find close to Notre Dame du Mont Cours Julien Metro and the lively sq that encompasses this area. The couple who owned it were very friendly, a really lovely couple, they told me us a new brewery that had opened on Tuesday of this week (how lucky are we?) just a short five minute walk away. There was a decent selection of French regional beers along with a large Belgian selection and with Mikkeller, Nogne, Brewdog etc then I guess there were enough beers for the hopheads and extreme beer fans. I really liked this place, I thought that it had a licence to try beers on site but sadly not however maybe they will work on that. Make sure you go here if in Marseille and try the new brewery just up the road.
Wonderful place. The owner was really helpful and she helped me buy a selection of French beers.
The only fault is that they don’t have LOADS of French beer. However the owner explained that this is all down the distribution issues and most of the breweries being in the north of France.
Definitely go here!
The best place to buy beer in South of France. The owner Vanessa is extremely service minded and has created a new reference and institution. She is always smiling and is extremely knowledgeable. Great selection of mostly Belgian beers, with some Northern European craft brewers such as Nøgne, Mikeller and Brewdog. I wish all bottleshops could be as good as this!
