As usually we started a new beery day in the UK with a traditional breakfast at a JDW, this time located not far from the seaside and tram line in Blackpool. Good valued breakfast for just £3.45. Eight cask ales to choose from, three of them new to us. Two floors, open fireplace and a medium-sized, oval room down stairs. Polite service. (Visited with Finn, 07.02.2019).

Three storey Spoons with a rooftop terrace and bar (now a bar on all three floors). As usual with Spoons, uninterested staff, undermanned and too busy for it’s own good. Beer quality was fine though and we enjoyed our hour up top and on the middle floor: great for people watching. It is however my least favourite of the three Wetherspoons in Blackpool (because of the location).

Modern looking Wetherspoons from outside but typical inside. Packed to the gills, lairy, loud. Very slow service. Not one I would return to.

Just off the main shopping centre street and in the heart of the nightlife area of Blackpool, this is a busy often packed Wetherspoon, especially in season. There’s two floors to sit on and two bars on either level to alleviate the pressure, as well as a patio area out front, but it is not the nicest street to sit out on. Ales can be found both upstairs and downstairs with more choice below.
