A small bar with a slightly dive feel to the place. Place was a little cramped when busy. Skee-Ball is the main attraction here. Service was solid. 20ish taps with a mix of local and non local. They look to have occasional tap takeovers. A decent sized bottle selection as well. Food was good but not outstanding. Prices were a bit steep. A cool bar but not a beer stop per say.

Hadnít heard of this place until I saw it listed in the Growler Magazineís "Kind-of-a-big-deal" ballot for "Craft Beer Bar-MSP" earlier this week. As fate would have it, it was the closest beer-centric establishment to a church where I was attending a funeral last night, and therefore had my 1st occasion to go. They focus on craft beer in cans, which is great, because nobody else does that, and their selection of it (140) is outstanding. Their draft selection is much smaller (17) but offers things you are unlikely to find anywhere else. Both last night and the night before they had tap takeovers. Last nightís was Deschutes and the night before was Lagunitas. In both cases, the beers on tap were a departure from the ones you see everywhere. Not sure how often they do these tap takeovers, but if itís with any frequency, it would certainly make up for the smaller number of taps. I had the potato skins appetizer which was fine. I wasnít overly impressed with the appetizer menu; nothing remotely on the healthy side. The interior is really nice with kind of a funky vibe. There is skee ball in one corner. Parking is not the easiest, but if youíre ok walking 3-4 blocks then youíre fine. Definitely worth a visit when in the area.

I wanted to play skee ball but the line was long. Lots of beers in bottle/cans/draft so that is nice. Menu was the usual bar stuff. I had cheese curds and friend pickles. Both were solid. Small, crowded but a cool place. Will visit again.

Stopped in for lunch and was able to try CBS and Big Lushious as part of a flight. Skeeball in the back and a pool table. Food was solid and service was great. Street parking, but no trouble getting a spot during the day. I would definitely come back.

I actually like it as itís dive former self Patricks. Decent selection, but from my experience the service is horrible, pushy and rude. I can also never hear a damn thing in the place the tables are so crammed together and crowded. Get to know whoever is sitting next to you well because theyíll be on top of you.

Like all the Minneapolis restaurants owned by Kim Bartmann, Patís Tap operates with an unpretentious adherence to current trends. They have very good cocktails, but you will get no where asking the bartender about his preferred shaking method to make the perfect gin fizz; they have a very respectable tap list and an enormous canned beer selection, but the staff is not really oriented toward craft beer enthusiasm. The food is expensive and perfectly decent, but with dozens and dozens of great, cheap options further north on eat street, thereís no cause to eat here. Given its location, Patís is surely the best craft beer option in this edge- of- uptown neighborhood, but it isnít worth seeking out for that purpose.

Went here with a group of 6 on a Saturday night. Crowded. This new place is awesome. Great tap list. All beers on the "bottle" list are cans only. Food seems like itís trying to be fancier - but just is normal pub fare (I had Bangers and Mash). Fun to throw a few games of skeeball for a quarter. Small single stall bathrooms. They had Hopslam, Lugene, and Pentagram on tap among others when I was there. RACECAR! Iíll come back for the summer patio.
