In Munich finding good craft beer is not a usual thing. Owner is very knowledgable and helpful. Wide variety of well chosen beers. Located within "Amalien Passage" (pedestrian) that runs between 2 regular streets. It is a restaurant, but has a bar to sit at as well. The focus is beer it seems to me.
Small hard to find bar. Beers on tap were all stone, freshly poured & decent priced. The chops were excellent…had like 9 different stone beers. I was alone, but found very quickly some nice beer loving people.Very knowledgable staff,..nice to spend some time &have some excellent beers. Definitely a visit worth, if you are looking for german craft beers, this place is maybe not the best, but maybe you are lucky, cause they rotate quite! Cheers.

Nice small place near university. Not very easy to find the first time. Beer selection is good, they have some nice taps, and an excellent bottle selection which is comprised of both locals and hard-to-get beers (and hard-to-get locals, for that matter). The food is excellent (albeit not exactly vegetarian friendly, but what do you expect?), and the owners know their stuff. Beer prices are reasonable, can be high, but absolutely okay for this location and selection. Always recommended to come here!
This place was recommended to me by a good friend. I went there on a friday night and it was crowded with a lot of happy people :-) Very good food btw, the spareribs were awesome! Beerselection was quite good with two beers on tap. Prices seemed to be legit. Very nice staff too.
Awesome people and service. Place has many positives and a few shortcomings. Yes, two taps in this day and age is not sufficient but they do their best to get a good bottle selection. The food is excellent. The beer selection is great for Munich but it has become a bit too IPA oriented for my liking.
If you are in Munich, pay them a visit.
We came here 14.11.2015. Beer bar located in an inner courtyard in Schwabing. Inside it’s very dark and not welcoming. The beer menu is interesting, 2 draft beers on tap: Trumer Pilsner and a Stone Pale Ale (6.50 EUR for 0,33 l !!!!), some specialities in bottles like a Sour Monkey from Victory. Service does not spread any beer enthusiasm. Overall quite disappointing, especially the prices are far too high.
