OK, I didnít have a tour as it didnít fit my flight schedule. Thatís maybe the only reason to visit the home of BrewDog - a tour and beer from the tanks. The first tour is at 5 pm, an earlier tour would be preferred, but possibly the majority of visitors pop in after work, since this is way out in an industrial estate. The DogTap seems like a place that "has to be there". Any other BrewDog bar has a better selection and atmosphere, apart from the prototype brewery adjacent to the bar area. But hey, any EFP should make a visit.

Thought I would finally get my act together and visit DogTap! We visited on a Thursday afternoon via car, which is the easiest route although not great for drinking. Other option is 67 or 68 bus from town & a short walk. We did not go on the brewery tour this time as these only run in the evening during the week. DogTap is in many ways like your average BrewDog bar with added bonus of a shop and 10HL pilot brewery (where they brew b-sides, sours et). The bar is actually a touch smaller than expected, although I have heard there were plans of expanded and doing proper food also. They offer 10 draught beers from BrewDog only, no guests. Usually includes some of the smaller-batch stuff. All draught beers available to take-away via growlers or crowlers. The bottle selection is likewise BD only and encompasses some of the smaller batch stuff too. Friendly staff and jovial atmosphere. I would love to see some brewery-only type beers to make this place stand out a bit more from the bars, but I enjoyed my time nonetheless. Next time I will endeavour to do the tour!

Visited just the bar, didnít get to go on the brewery tour since we came too early. Industrial interior with a touch of wackiness, usual Brewdog Iíd say. We had really nice time, good service. Besides regular brews they had Abstrakt on tap, as well as Penguin and Bismarck bottle pours which others bars usually donít have. Also good bottle selection. Pricing, well lets just say I get this is a premium product and weíre financing all those experimental brews, cicerone trainings and new bars all over the world, but still charging 4+ quid for your basic product which is brewed next door - somehow seems wrong. Nevertheless if youíre nearby itís worth visiting.

Tour was pretty one dimensional and if the guide would have talked any faster he would have overtaken himself. Plus some of the explanation were not as expected correct but a very broad generalisation -the eye rolling type...Yet the brewery is state of the art and really interesting if you like brew technology. The bar itself is for being right next to the brewery steep in price! Beers are spot on and well temperated, service is also attentive. The selection is ever chaning but there are only a handful on.

The best brewery Iíve ever visited. Great tour, great atmosphere, lots of busy people but seems like they really enjoy what they do. Drinking Punk IPA from the thank was so delicious. There is a tap room (DogTap) just in the entrance of the brewery where we could choose about 8-10 beers from the taps, all BrewDogs, no guest beers. In the fridge another 30-40 bottled BrewDog beers, including all the available special ones. Glasses and merchandise as well.

We visited BrewDogís second brewery July 5th 2013. It opened beginning of the year, is located 45 min by car from Aberdeen,†brewhouse and tanks are all brand new and process is very automated. Some tanks have typical brewdog graffitis which gives the place a great charisma. We could also see the freezers where Sink the Bismark and the other strong beers are produced. Tour given by one of the junior brewmasters was amazing. Some good sampling of beers directly out of the tank. One of the best brewery tours I have ever enjoyed.
