10 taps with high quality beers from around the globe. Only one local. Bottle selection is goddamn amazing. Lots and lots of spanish and international brews. Prices are decent and the guy behind the counter knew what he was talking about
The beer selection is awesome! My girlfriend and I went there twice and we had a great imperial porter last week, and an outstanding imperial stout from Norway yesterday. If I finished my comment here, I’d give 7 stars out of 5 to this place!
However, the waiter (same waiter on our two visits) tried to charge us an extra 0,50 € per beer EACH time we went to Arte&Sana. On our first visit, a 7 € pint "suddenly" cost 7,50 € when it was time to pay the bill. We thought it was a mistake, so we didn’t make any fuss for a few pennies... but on our second visit, the same waiter tried to charge us 22,50 € for 3 pints at 7 € each! My girlfriend, who speaks Spanish fluently, told him politely that 3 x 7 equals 21, not 22,50... and by magic, our bill was instantly reduced to the 21 € it should have cost from the very beginning. Weird, huh?
If you add to these "mistakes" the fact that no printed invoice was given, it’s hard not to think that the waiter tried to take advantage of the fact that we were tourists!
We visited two other craft beer bars in Málaga in the past weeks ("La Madriguera" and "Central Beers")... and in these places, we received an invoice on which the price of each and every beer was clearly printed and, of course, matched exactly the price listed on the board (or on the TVs for "Central Beers").
So... My conclusion? Arte&Sana has the greatest beer in town, but without any doubt the worst service. Having the feeling of being robbed because you’re a tourist is a total turn off for me, so I won’t go there again. If you look like a tourist and you decide to walk into this bar, just be sure that the price you pay is the price you should have paid...!
I really love this place, friendly staff (who know their stuff). 7 rotating taps that change very frequently with usually 1-2 very special ones on them. Prices are very reasonable and as mentioned before there is a discount if you take them out.

Visited 21 may 2016 Nice bar, few taps, mostly foreign beers. Many cold bottled beers, local as well as foreign. Friendly staff. Good place.
Mooie selectie, m.n. op fles. Catalogus erbij, erg handig. Goede tot prima prijzen (25% korting op takeaway). Ook grote toppers aanwezig.
Cafe zelf heeft weinig sfeer. Maar daar heb je geen oog voor als je druk je keuze aan het maken bent.
Very nice small bar directly on Plaza de la Merced. 7 taps, but only 2 with Spanish beers (1 local). Many and many bottles included small selection from Spanish TOP 50 and quite nice selection of local microbreweries, most of them cold. Discount for bottles taken away. Friendly and well knowledgeable personnel were very helpful with orientation in local craft scene. Great place. Worth to visit.
