Visited in the evening, was quite crowded, had trouble finding the seat. Cozy interior. Service was very good. 15 taps, nothing too interesting, some new ticks, but mostly usual suspects. Solid selection of bottles, an interesting bottle here or there. Worth visiting for the ambiance, not so much for new and/or rare beers.

Good variety of Belgian and local beers. I was there in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013. It is my tradition when I arrive to Amsterdam.
Another small and cramped craft beer bar in Amsterdam. When I entered the bar I needed a couple of minutes before I could read the tap list due to condensation on glasses. There is a sitting area up a few steps on a mezzanine, where we managed to squeeze in six more people. Indeed a charming place! Decent beer selection and a flight is 4 x 15 cl for€ 9.25. Attentive and nice service. Male drunkards, be aware! The staircase down to the loo is extremely steep, actually more like a ladder! And when you have unleashed the Salmon, some may have a problem with the elevated toilet bowl. Dwarfs will face a serious problem! I enjoyed my stay. A fun experience.
Visited late evening, not as crowded as I expected but still plenty of people. Wooden interior, big bar that looks good to sit around, some tables on the back. I don’t remember the tap list but it was nothing interesting, otherwise I’d remember I guess. Bottle list was nothing special either, mostly belgian beers and some local dutch ones, I had their own beer here plus another from a bottle, good atmosphere, too much light though. Prices on the high side.
Cozy, small, rather dark and old-fashioned bar with lots of wooden interior. Seating is placed around the bar and at the tables in the back. A bit more than a dozen taps with a rather bland selection plus an extensive list of allegedly 200 bottles. Focus is heavily on Belgians, especially the classic ones, accompanied by a few Dutch micros and a handful of classic German beers. This is definitely not your tick-heaven but a very broad and complete collection of Belgiums beer heritage. The staff is attentive and very helpful, the prices are rather high, even for Amsterdam standards. I thought it is way too warm in there by the way.
