Visited on a Thursday evening. Located in the back corner of The Party Source store, entrance is in the beer section. Can’t say I have seen a setup like this before, the room itself has a brick and metal design, seats at the bar, or tables in the smallish room. Beer selection is 42 beers on draft, of which 23 house beers. Nice TV displays with information on beers available, including style and price, though no ABV listed which was kind of a bummer. The Ei8ht Ball brews cover a wide range of styles. Guest brews were well chosen and interesting. Beers are available glass or taster size, or growler / crowler to go. No food available, other than bar snacks and self serve free popcorn. The brewery itself is visible through a window in the back. Games in the corner and Twilight zone on the TV. Unique place, I always like and appreciate places like this. Heard some talk at the bar that this place may be closing, which would be a bummer.
82 = ★★★½ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Not the most attractive space but it serves the purpose. Service was solid and knowledgeable. Selection was big with lots of their taps and a well curated list of guest taps. Prices were good and flights with samples available. An easy stop especially if you are going to Party Source.
Can’t believe this counts as a separate place, but whatever. Brewery and taproom inside The Party Source. Didn’t realize this place was here. A bunch of Ei8ht ball brews (maybe 15 when I was there) and then a very solid selection of guest drafts. There must have been an event there recently, because there was a lot of sour Ei8th Ball stuff and big barrel-aged guest imperial stouts. Tasters a bit on the pricey side. No food aside from popcorn. Mostly interesting to me because of the location -- like, I wouldn’t be coming by to their standalone location, but I’m sure I’ll stop by whenever I’m shopping for beers "next door."
Grab a beer and popcorn before getting your party supplies. Check it out: https://ynda.wordpress.com/2016/06/09/ei8ht-ball-brewing/

Feels like cheating since this joint is actually an appendage of Party Source, but what the hell. Handsome and well-lit space, and by no means an afterthought in terms of design, functionality, or overall ambiance. Was immediately greeted by super-friendly staff (and patrons, for that matter) and these folks were very patient with my questions, and generous with samples. Snagged a growler of hoppy red, and left wishing I could spend more time here.
Tucked inside the Party Source store in the back. A nice space to hang out - 42 taps overall and maybe 6 or so were Ei8ht Ball. Beers were subpar. More work needed.

Cool place. Huge selection especially if you include the Party Source selection. Over 40 on tap. Fine service, no food except popcorn. Here is the big problem. WAY overpriced! A flight of four..... $12. Want a glass of Victory Cherry Gose.....also $12. A six pack is cheaper. Value is in the eye of the beholder but I doubt I will venture in to the trapdoor next time I am at Party Source.
