Pleasant place with a decent selection of Danish and Norwegian craft beer (bot on tap and in bottles). Didn’t see too much Swedish, thou, but that didn’t bother me. Service was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Worth dropping by.
Located in the Kampi area close to the centre. Stopped in just before watching Star Wars at Kampi Finnkino nearby. Very quiet (just 4 people including us the entire hour) Interesting draft options, all Scandinavian. Bargirl is helpful picking out a couple of strong dark beers for me. A few Finnish ciders here too. Nice place.
Ratebeer, stop losing my place reviews. Nice place, not too different from the pivnice that was here earlier in layout, but it’s now lighter. Most of the beers here are Danish, so "Stockholm" is a bit of a joke. Staff don’t recognise me yet, but I recognise them, and they always serve with a friendly smile, so it’s nice to come back here when I’m in the country. Always ticks here, even if it’s just the usual tikkeller and fiends. When this place kicks out - go round the corner to 0lhus Kobnhavn :-)
Quite center center of Helsinki. Spacious 2 room bar. Selection, both on tap and in fridge was more than plenty. Staff friendly and helpful. Disco starts around 2 am with all the blinking lights and whistles. We left then ’cause it felt spooky.
Used to be Pivnice Hostina. Fairly centrally located, Swedish stuff on tap. Fairly clinical atmosphere, nice enough service, I guess. Annoying that they don’t serve halves on larger beers. Pricey. Not a place I would choose to go if given a choice.
This used to be dark Czech pub called Hostina. I didn’t like that place that much. Now it’s a bit brighter but still quite small. At least on last Friday night it was too crowded to be enjoyable. Big Nordic breweries on taps. The new name Ølhus Stockholm is beyond my comprehension. Is it kind of witty mixture of Danish/Norwegian/Swedish? But I like the idea of Nordic pub in Helsinki. I also would like to taste their pølser.
