I have visited Cerveteca Lisboa on 3 separate trips to Lisbon since it opened and believe it is the best place in the city for beer. It is not right in the centre, but easy to walk to. It has a pleasant cafe/bar vibe in a local neighborhood. There is great focus on Portuguese craft beer. They 12 tap lines and over 100 bottles, of which Portuguese microbreweries make up the most significant portion. Plenty stuff I have never seen or had and I always have to add new beers and breweries to the database when I visit! It doubles as a bottle shop as everything can be taken away. Staff are friendly and have a keen interest in beer. They offer tasty snacks in the form of tinned fish and bread/crackers. I recommend the smoked mussels. This is the must-visit beer venue in Lisbon.

This gem is placed a little from the center of town. We used metro station Avenida, and then had a rather hard uphill walk including a 120+ Step very steep stair. Going back we used metro Rato, wich is a little shorter away and the walk there is not nearly as steep, anyway its very well worth the effort to gået here. Ones there youll find a great bar and bottle shop in one. Seating for about 25 people at small tablets and a few along the bar. 12 tap’s, half portugese, half international, Italian, Belgien and Dutch at lur visit. Long bottle list, good nummer of Portugese craft, American, Dutch, Belgien, Spanish, etc. High quality overall. 5 and 10 piece samplers served (9 and 17€) Good, effiencient and chatty service with great knowlegde of both local and international beer scene. Only other visitors as we entered was an American couple from north of New York, who actually have relatives living in the town of Aarhus in Denmark where we live. Its a small (beer) world. A must visit in Lisboa, top 2-3 in my book.
I stopped by a couple of times on a recent trip to Lisbon and was impressed with the very good service and nice selection. The have 12 taps with around five being Portuguese craft and the others being foreign beers. The bottle selection is good as well with local beers and a good selection from Belgium, Scandinavia and other places as well.
The servers we so helpful and friendly. They helped make sure that we got the right beers by serving tastes and took time with me to recommend bottles to bring back. They even helped us find a good place to eat that evening...nice people
A gem of Lisboa beer scene well hidden - try to get through a maze of narrow streets with bus n. 773 from Rata but be aware that the last goes back at 21:30! The place can be proud of a wonderful selection of both draft beers (3 Portugal micros at the time of my vist and all perfect!) and bottles that include rare pieces not only from beer countries like Belgium but also interesting attempts from Spain, hard to find elsewhere. The staff is both friendly and very knowledgeable and the ambiente of a spot frequented by educated mates is great!
Probably (likely) the place in Portugal with the widest and "bestest" craft beer selection. Owners Rui and Carolina are very nice and extremely knowledgeable of craft beer, very helpful when you’re trying out new stuff, either as a newbie or a craft beer lover who wants to become a true beer geek. Only thing missing is a more substantial food offer, as too often I have had to stumble elsewhere to dilute a bit the triple IPAs and Imperial Stouts "sampled". A must-go place for all beer lovers visiting Lisbon!
