Right in the Jewish Quarter, this place has a very solid selection, with a small portion of it refrigerated. They even had a couple shelves of mead, where you can find all the main Pasieka products in various different sized bottles. They even had two ice ciders. Service was very friendly and helpful in tracking down certain beers. Great shop.
Visited on 6th April 2017. Bottle shop in the Kazimierz district of Krakow. Huge array of bottles in shelves behind the counter plus some more macro Polish offerings in the fridges. Staff were super helpful and directed me to the Black IPA section and to the Grapefruit IPA section which was helpful. A really great range of Polish craft. Prices displayed clearly and seemed great value. As it’s nearby to the best 2 bars in the area and has another venue next door it’s worth a visit.
I liked this shop for its range and its value although like many beer shops here it is frustrating that most of the bottles are kept behind the counter so it does not lend itself too well to browsing the selection. Good prices and friendly service plus a number of beers are available to grab from the fridge.
It was looking like a beer free Easter Sunday when my lovely companion noticed an oasis in the frigid landscape of Kazimierz. I felt lucky to randomly walk into a liquor store and walk out with so many highly regarded beers. The beer selection mainly consisted of Polish craft choices, but there were plenty of other options from around Europe and a few from the US. Most of the Polish beers cost under 8 PLN which made buying them very economical. The main negative to the shop is that all the beer is behind the counter, so you will have to have an employee help you. It would be great to be able to go through the beer selection closer. It took a moment for the lone woman working to have time to come over to help me, but she was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about Polish beer. Considering how busy it was, she actually got over to help me pretty quickly.
