(Visited 11/2015 and several times since): Brass Tap is located at Polaris Mall in one of the exterior buildings. Parking is plentiful in front of the bar.
There is a patio on the pavement on the side of the building. Inside opens to the bar, with tables and high-top tables to the left and right, and the bar immediately to the rear. Large windows all the way around the space let in a good amount of light. Painted walls with breweriana and neon signs. Behind the bar is a long row of tap handles, and there are TVs situated all around.
The Brass Tap has around 60 taps, featuring many breweries from Ohio like Great Lakes, CBC, Lineage, , Land-Grant, Actual, Four String and Jackie O's, plus many other domestic craft breweries like Founders, Bell's. Ballast Point, and Ommegang. Flights are available as well. There are a couple hundred bottled options from domestic and import craft brewers too.
Service both at the bar and in the restaurant area has been consistently good. The staff is knowledgeable about the beer and friendly. There are regularly events and tap takeovers hosted here.
Food on my visits has been pretty good, from brunch food on Sundays, to salads and flatbreads to paninis.
Overall this chain craft beer bar always has something worthwhile to try, and it will continue to be a place I visit regularly despite it being in a very congested part of town.
