A sort of upscale supermarket in the centre. Walked by a couple of times so I took a r ok inside. Not a bad selection for a supermarket, though nothing outstanding. They do have their own beer brand made from leftover bread. Prices are perhaps a bit towards the higher end.

As we stayed in a hotel nearby, dropped by to pick up some (more) Dutch beers. Card only, not possible to pay by cash. Selection ok, prices ok. Picked up some Prael and Jopen.

Trendy eco supermarket with lots of cookies and ’eco’ snacks & drinks. Small to medium beer selection with a lot of Jopen, IJ, Kompaan, a few others: mostly lagers, weizen and tripels, one Marqt exclusive and not much of interest really.

Rather large and fancy supermarket with a decent selection of local and other Dutch craft beer, some of them organic. The selection differs from that of for example Amsterdam, as you will find more of Kompaan etc. Prices are quite good, and some of the beers are also cooled.

I find The Hague’s central branch of the organic supermarket chain a great place to pick up fresh fish or meat if I’m too lazy to go to the market. Veggies are fairly good too, though expensive. I wouldn’t bother with the cleaning products though, and I’m not going to wipe my bum with toilet paper at that price! As far as beers go, they have a few, but not really much you can’t find in any proper beer store.

Sort of a hipster grocery store with lots f fresh food and some beers as well. They have one beer brewed exclusively for them, and a nice selection of beers that are not that easy to find in other stores in the area. They even have Meteor from France even though they don’t have the pils but the lager. Which illustrates the problem here a bit; they have some nice breweries but mostly standard styles like tripel, lager and bock. Prices are OK. They also have other locations which sell the exact same beers.

Centrally based supermarket with a reasonable selection of Dutch and some German beers. The Dutch selection changes very slowly. They stock Kompaan Jopen, het Ij and a few smaller breweries. You can only pay by Maestro/PIn. No cash
