A good pizza place with an excellent selection of beers on tap, and a very helpful bartender who offered us recommendations and samples as she helped us choose our pints. Good pizza and a pleasant atmosphere, though a bit plain in decor. We found parking in a parking lot to the west. Next to a train stop. Establishment named after its address. Definitely worth a trip back.
Last stop of the evening. Pretty dead when we walked in, but that was ok. Kind of a diner feel to it, but getting a taplist with 52 beers on it helped a lot. Lots of locals, including two of their own beers on tap. Everything available as 5 ounce pours, which is a bonus. Really good service. Did not try the food. We ended up parking in some sort of University contract parking that was only enforced til 5PM,but I can see parking being a challenge at times.
A great beer selection, with so many taps it is remarkable for that alone. Food is so-so, and limited to pizza and salad. Some unique beers, such as the Oskar Blues double red ale (cardamom taste, with a peppery finish), or the Dragoon Brewing dunkel weisse (strong hoppy flavor with an interesting peppery finish). They did not have the Borderlands Prickly Pear Wheat or the Lagunitas Sucks that I wanted to try.
Busy pizza restaurant with an incredible tap list. People seemed to like hanging out here lots of students.
Tap list has lots of regional and west coast beers.
Pizza was so-so but beer is the best in Tucson.
Very cool place for pizza and beer. We stopped by for lunch and had our two boys with us and the waitress/bartender was as nice as she could be. She talked beer with the adults and Minecraft with the boys. Parking was kind of weird and somewhat scarce. I could see it being a problem on the weekend in the evening.
Kick ass place with a nice big tap selection as well as bottles. They also have brewed with more brewing equipment on the way. Was lucky enough to try a sample of one of their beers, and it was great. Can’t wait to see more. One of the best beer bars in AZ. Food is also excellent.
When I first got to 1702, I thought it was kind of small. I thought it was kind of expensive. I thought it was taking too long to get my food.
I was so wrong. The food is a great value because it is gigantic. It is world-class food. The greatest pizza you will ever eat. Huge selection of drinks. No AB/MillerCoors swill.
1702 is probably my favorite place in the world.
