One of the package stores I frequent the most, due to proximity to my home and overall cost. Great selection of beer and liquor. Bring cash with you, since cash prices are cheaper than credit (although even only if 5-10%). Good selection of micros and macros, but don’t come here if you’re looking for those rarer finds in Atlanta. They have the more distributed beers, e.g. Brooklyn, Rogue, Lagunitas, Mendocino, Unibroue et al. Good selection of cases and 6-packs, chilled and unchilled. Can’t rent kegs here, though, only at the Ponce de Leon location.

What else is there really to say? Best place to get beer in Atlanta, or anywhere near it. The Greens location has better parking than Ponce, just no beer cellar. None of the peeps in there know about beer, but if you’re reading this site, I assume you know enough. Tons of Belgians and Lambics if you’re into those. Great selection of locals like Terrapin and Sweetwater. Highlights include Rogue, Brooklyn, Great Divide, Avery, Highland, Clipper City, Medoncino, Unibrouque, Rochefort.. etc... always good prices even for the crap beer. Now they offer good case discounts if you mix/match 6ers. Cash is 5% cheaper as well. Always have good seasonals. I love this place. Go like a bat out of hell if you’re turning left when leaving... people fly around that curve.
This and the Ponce store are the best beer stores in Georgia. I have been shopping there for a while now. The general service there is clueless, so don’t even bother them with beer questions. Just ask for the beer-guy on duty. The beer-guys at Greens know their stuff tho, especially Adam. Atmosphere is ok - the outside of the Buford location is a lot better than Ponce. Regarding comments about there being not much micros at Green’s - that is a symptom of the state of beer sells in Georgia and not Green’s.
