Stopped by on the way back from the desert, had heard good things from SamGamgee. Easy to find with GPS, and for a Monday afternoon, the place was busy. Tried the Pale Ale and IPA, both fresh and good. Brought food in and had a quick snack before we hit the road. Also picked up a 3 pack crowler to take home. Lot of options on goodies and beer to buy. Overall a great stop if you are out that way.

(Visited 07/2015): Hangar 24 is located in Redlands off the I-10 on Sessums literally on the grounds of the Redlands Municipal airport. There is a large parking lot next to the building.

The brewery has a good-sized patio/beer garden outside with long communal picnic benches. A large garage door opens to the taproom, which is a large room that features a walk-up bar on the right and standing space throughout the rest of the room. Industrial look and feel with the brewery beyond the taproom area. There is a large wing skeleton hanging from the ceiling, and huge chalkboards behind the bar listing the beers available.

Hangar 24 has around 15 beers on tap, and samplers are available. On my visit the options included a couple from the Local Fields series, ESB, Iconic Double IPA, Barrel Roll First Crush and a Belgian Summer Ale. The beers were all decent with a couple standouts. They have bottles of the specialty stuff for sale as well.

Service on a weekday late afternoon was good. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about the beers.

Food is not available at the brewery.

Overall this is a cool and unique brewery to visit with some solid beers to boot.

A cool spot across from a small airport. No food available but cheap samplers of every beer available. Strange that 2 weeks after pugachev release they didnít keep any for in the brewery but whatever.

A bit of a drive out by the Redlands airport, but a great place to visit for a beer release or just as a way to try most of the Hangar 24 lineup. Big spacious facility with plenty of parking in the vacant lot next door. A bright spot in the landscape of the Inland Empire beer scene.

Nice little place and I mean little. Good selection of beers and memorabilia. Outside patio is nice, but overall place is small and could really use some food offerings. Staff is friendly and service is fast. There was a live band to liven things up. Beer is very good and good pricing too.

I really enjoyed this location and yes I am biased because itís by an airport. The staff were welcoming and the patrons were equally chatty and made this Hoosier feel welcome. Food not available unless a food truck is there. If youíre out that way definitely make a visit.

Visited maybe a dozen times since theyíve opened including anniversary parties, barrel roll releases, and tastings at hophead22ís house. Most recently last Saturday for the rerelease of Pugachevís Cobra.

This place has grown very fast. My first trip was on the first anniversary and at that point they already had 100 bbl fermenters in use and they were talking about celebrating their 300th account. At their second anniversary I saw multiple 160 bbl fermenters. This weekend I saw a whole new addition to the building.

Service is usually pretty good. They are all friendly and do a good job of moving the line which is always massive during releases and events. They also have a good amount of house beers on tap. Not sure if they still do it but they used to do a number of experimental cask variations as well.

Draft prices are reasonable and samples are $1. Never bought a growler or a shirt so I cant comment on those prices though they do use those fancy German growlers so I can only imagine that they cost a pretty penny. Doesnt affect me though as I refuse to buy growlers so long as I have to buy a different growler for every brewery.

No food served on premise though there are food trucks outside sometimes.
