Went there for dinner and the food was good without being fantastic in any way. The place has beers from many different countries, though some of them are Belgian and not from the African countries they’ll have you believe. The selection could use some more quality beers. The staff was friendly, but they didn’t seem to know too much about beer.
The selection is fairly for a German pub, but not particularly well picked. When it comes to atmosphere, the place itself is a typical German Kneipe or Wirtshaus. The prices seem to be a bit above average.
Great and nice, service is typical Berlin, just ok. Selection is nice but only bottled and no evoluating. Food is big and german, but well done and simple. Value ist good if you don t drink too much beer.
Restaurant bar in the West end of Berlin. Massive beer selection over 100 bottle and draught. Friendly service. Going back to try the food tomorrow. Expensive but the best place in Berlin so far. Updated rating. Went back for a meal - good quality food and fast service. Food better value than beer. Definitely the place to go in Berlin.
Tradition german theme. Large place with lots of brown wood. Staff are efficient but no great charm to them. Seems to attract groups of older tourists, international and german, quite a few Americans on the times I was there. Food is standard german hearthy. Beer selection is good for Berlin with a mix of standards and a few originals, 15 on draught 100 in bottle, 4 Berliner weisse, 7 alco free and 4 of those beer mixes. They also do some beer with shot mixes that I haven’t seen before e.g African Star (Pils with Campari) Worth a trip.
Rather big place with seats outdoor and indoor. You may also sit at the bar. Nice dark interior, apart from the chairs and tablles. Some are light some dark wood. Beer OK but not may I had not tasted before. Food good and sufficient without being too much or too fat. Serice quick and friendly Price level medium Music: Pop and soft roakd. Liked the pin-ups at the toiled.

Not the best, but not bad at all. Slow service and expensive dishes. Big variety of botlled beers with good prices. Maybe i ll give it a second chance next time that i ll be in Berlin.
A few good points. 100 beers are indeed a lot for a German bar. There is nowhere else very beery in the immediate vicinity and it seemed to stay open (and lively) quite late. Which made it a handy place for a nightcap as our hotel was nearby, so we visited a few times during the course of a week. Service was fine. Some bad points. The beer list was pretty run of the mill (especially the draught selections) with few German rarities. And padded out with a lot of international lagers and commonplace Belgians (which I don’t go to Germany for). Two of the three German beers on the list that I had not tried before were out of stock. The Mommsen-Eck house beer was presumably a rebadge but I never managed to find out what it was. So, overall, useful if you are in the area but probably of more interest to locals and country tickers than visitors seeking out new German rates.
