Nice place. Had a flight of ten ciders and it was only $5. Great happy hour price. Staff were very helpful and called us a cab. Wanted to go back and try some of their other taps but ran out of holiday time. Will be back there next time though.
It’s probable that I came on an off night, but I wasn’t impressed with this place. The tap selection only elicited a huge yawn. The food was mediocre, and the service was decent to good. The place is low-key, and in a great part of town; however, I didn’t see anything exciting on tap on this particular evening. The food wasn’t bad, but there are definitely better places to eat in Portland. I think it’s worth a stop, but I think it’s a one and done kind of place.
In a small nondescript corner shopping area, and from the outside looks like it could be a flower shop or, really, any other kind of business. Seating for maybe 40 at tables and 12-15 at the bar. Alt-pop on the sound system and two TVs showing sports programs. 24 rotating taps, nearly all NW stuff (the one permanent tap is Boneyard RPM IPA). The server said that they usually stock beers from west of the Rockies. US pints for between $4.25 and $6.00. Samplers available in 2.5-oz. glasses: 6 for $8; 12 for $13; and all 24 for $24. Small selection of pub food: salads, entrees, burgers, sandwiches. Service was good. A very pleasant place, especially good for sampling lots of new brews from OR, WA, and CA.
Here for happy hour. A great selection, I’ve only ever grabbed a growler fill here before, on one of their ridiculous $8 days or whatever. I LOVE the fact you can up or downgrade glass-size for a flat rate. That is something that everywhere could do and I would be a happy man. Pricing is great, service is great. It’s a funny little spot but pretty close to my barber. Happy hour food is excellently priced.9
