Amazing selection, organized by style, so it’s a bit confusing at first, but works well enough. Sadly I had a flight to catch, but I’ll have to come back here and have a field day. For this visit, I browsed, just like it was a library or a used book store. Great way to pass the afternoon, after lunch at 5 Seasons, and before coffee at Octane.
Pretty solid store if I might say so. They have a number of shelves with single bottles (mostly 22 oz/750ml, but some smaller formats) along with coolers full of six packs and the like. Huge variety of styles from breweries all over the US and the world. Can’t really even begin to name them all here.
In addition, they also have a huge bar for growler fills and the prices are quite good for both the fills and the containers. I ended up getting a Creature Comforts 32 oz. growler.
Super knowledgeable and friendly staff here, which make the store even better. Definitely worth a stop and basically right next door to 5 Seasons Westside.
Most of their beer is on unrefrigerated shelves, including a lot of IPA/DIPAs that don’t like it there. Nothing worse than an IPA with dust on the bottle. That being said, the selection is pretty good, but not amazing or anything. I thought I would like the organization by style, but it was a bit annoying to me. I picked up a bunch of Clown Shoes, and their Bells selection was pretty nice. Staff was helpful, and seemed to know what they were talking about.

Nice, craft beer focused bottle shop on the west side of Atlanta. Right next to a 5 Seasons, which is nice. The store itself has a rack of the usual suspect Belgians up front, with 4 bigger rows of craft and high quality imports. The cooler selection was pretty slim, and the single selection even slimmer. A sign in the store seemed to indicate they may single out any beer, but I didn’t ask. All employees I talked to were knowledgeable and friendly. For locals, this seemed like a great place. For out of towners, I would make sure everything you want is in singles if that’s what you are after. Overall, a very nice beer store.
82 = ★★★½ (Solid place, near the top of the list for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Well here it is: the new best beer store in Atlanta. Prices are rock bottom for the products. All the beer is arranged by style, rather than by brewer which makes browsing interesting. The selection is massive with beers I haven’t seen elsewhere in town. Not much space at all is wasted on crap. Beers are not generally available in singles. Staff seemed knowledgable as they talked about the beers. I will obviously return.
A nice large store geared towards beer. People their are very knowledgeable about their beer and the hold homebrew classes. Selection is top notch with tons of bottles and even a growler station with 60 taps!!! Prices aren’t the lowest in town, but they are very competitive and I am happy to pay a slight premium for the selection. Best store in ATL in my opinion!
Stopped by here in mid June 2010. Has the feel of a Crate and Barrel - lots of light and high ceilings - but it is crowded - but it is crowded because there is so much damn beer in here! At least twenty four fifteen or so foot long aisles of beer stacked at last six feet high. Categorized by country for the most part with a section of new arrivals up by the register. There is a small section of small singles - wished it was a little larger - but not like their wasn’t literally a thousand bombers to choose from. No region of the US was left out of the equation. Did not really see a lot of odd foreign stuff (for those of us tickers who will buy something from Malta just because they have not rated it). Staff was friendly and helpful and catered to beer geeks - not overbearing though. Prices were reasonable - considering the location in Westside Atlanta in a upscale shopping center. Will be a regular stop on trips to and through Atlanta.
Wow this is a nice store. Clean and well stocked. Great service too. Beers are organized by styel which is fun but also can be a bit annoying if you are looking for the new brews from a specific brewery. But I loved the place. Great selection.
Situated right next to 5 Seasons.
Half beer and half wine. Wide selection all organized by style or country region.
Some 6 pack are available in singles. Great selections of bombers, and a lot of brews that are not available in FL. Everything is very well priced.
Very friendly service, nice area in what looks to be a newly opened shopping plaza.
