Hands down the best selection in Atlanta. I wish they did a few more single bottles but you can break a 6-pack if there is something specific you are looking for. I just try to not do that. Staff is knowledgeable and went out of their way to help me find a few things. Beer is organized in isles by style which is helpful when browsing. I’d be here all the time if it wasn’t a 40 min drive from me.
Ambience is a little industrial ( oh god I sound like a hipster). But beer and wine everywhere.
Service was really good. Got asked a couple of times if I was looking for anything in particular. I can support that.
Couldn’t really get much better for selection. A good amount of all styles.
Value was on par with other locations sometimes cheaper. (Don’t read this and change please!!!)
When you leave with a box something is going right. No doubt one of the best beer stores I’ve been in.
A small store but it is packed full of Craft Beer with a great selection. It takes a long time to walk up and down the tight isles and see everything they have. Great selection in their Growler Bar as well. Probably my favorite craft beer store.
Large liquor store with small isles, but definitely specializing in craft beer. Selection was awesome, being from Florida, so much awesome stuff you can’t find down here. Service was great, knowledgeable and helpful. Value seemed reasonable for the area. And conveniently located next to a 5 Seasons, so if you’re only in town for a little bit, an easy 1-2 punch.
Solid bottle shop. Organized by the style and also has a wine half. Most people were in there for beer. Huge selection of Dogfish Head, Clown Shoes and local breweries. Main downfall with this place is most of their beer is not available to make your own six pack. They do have one small area where you can make a six pack for really good prices. Staff is friendly.

Very great selection arranged by style. Big list of taps of growler fills. An ok selection of singles. Some dusty IPA’s, but other than that I could spend an hour in the place combing through the shelves.
My favorite beer shop in Atlanta! This place has a huge variety of beers to choose from. Their staff also knows their stuff and can answer any beer question. They also have a great selection of growlers. I highly recommend a visit to Hop City.
Definitely one of the best in Georgia. Nice selection of bottles, packs, growlers, and a few broken packs. It takes awhile to walk around and take it all in before actually deciding, but that is definitely a good thing. The staff is great. They were out of a few things I wanted to try, but they were able to recommend a few replacements. I drove two hours to pick up two cartfuls of beer and it was worth the drive.
went here to grab some locals before i left town. Arranging the beers by style made it a longer trip. The selection is good, mostly six packs and bombers, but there is a small self of singles to make a 6 pack. I was a bit surprised, by reading reveiws I figured the place would be bigger than it was. To be honest, more than half the place was wine. Beer selection was good, but I suspect that it would be no diferent than any other bottle shop in the area up to snuff. It filled my needs to tick on SC, NC, and some other locally distributed Atlanta area brewed beers.
While it did not have the bottle selection I was hoping for, I must say that is a pretty complete store for the beer nerd. Very, very nice growler selection, pretty damn solid homebrewing selection of equipment and ingredients, and sold bottle selection. Good service and atmosphere. Throw in some hard to find bottles and this could be close to the perfect store. I wish they would refrigerate there hops though.
