By far the standard for the Grand Rapids Area Beer scene. 50 taps of better beer, including a firkin that is regularly kept busy.
A sassy yet knowledgeable wait staff and an extremely impressive bottle selection to go with the tap selection. The bottle reserves have things some people will never see again.
My only regret is that it isn’t closer to my house.
Nice dark wood interior, I didn’t do much research on this placed and was pleasantly surprised that they have a small brewing operation. Lots of taps, nice selection. Trendy crowd in a lively bustling space, beer garden doesn’t hurt Prompt service. Draughts included Founders, Livery, GI, some Belgians. A well rounded selection. Good value on diverse choice of pints, lots of Michigan choices. Food was above average pub fare.
Very cool.. great selection. Decor could not be much better, they must have sunk a ton of money into the place. I have been there 4 times and the service was really poor every time. (Got up and left after waiting over ten minutes to be served on the last and final visit) All four visits were at slow early Sunday afternoon times to boot with multiple severs present!?!? I really want to give a better review and root for the place but I just can’t stand such bad service.
Fantastic beer selection, very good food, and a KILLER facility. 48 taps with 150 bottles and the bar is a piece of art. Bartenders are friendly and attentive. Very nice place to relax and enjoy the vibe, beers, and good conversation.
Thankfully I stopped bye on my way to Founders. This place is a great sophisticated beer bar. Great selection of Michigan beer. I consider myself a bit of a veggie chili coinsurer might have had the best with some great draft beer.
Great stop just off of 131S towards Kalamazoo, and glad I took Ryan’s advice (for once). Dimly lit, carefully decorated bar area with a significant outdoor seating area with tons of plush couches and greenery. I could see myself sitting outside daily. Loads of great local Michigan beer on tap: Shorts, Kuhnhenns, Bells, Founders, the Livery, New Holland, etc., and a fair selection of local bottles as well (nothing overly rare, but a good spread of Michigan brews and abroad). Very friendly service, great place to crash, and this is the kind of place where there will always be something on tap that you haven’t tried.
