This may be my favorite place in the world to drink beer, and certainly my favorite in Colorado (amongst a myriad of great options). While they don’t have a huge tap wall like others, they only serve the best of the best, so I can usually find more that I want to drink here than at places with larger selections like the Falling Rock. I love that they cycle through beers quickly so that every time you go there’s always a bunch of new stuff to try. The staff is super knowledgable and very friendly, and the food is delicious - easily the best food at a beer establishment in CO. They are expanding to the place next store so should have a lot more seating soon.

I tried to visit here last year on a Tuesday. It wasn’t a special event week or anything and the place was so full around 6 pm that my body could not physically fit into the vestibule. I gave it another go during GABF week and showed up fifteen minutes before they opened. Needless to say, they were absolutely slammed but the staff handled it expertly. They always have elite tap lists, but the list today was arguably the beer geekiest I have seen in my drinking life. I didn’t have time or space to eat on this visit. Hops and Pie is firmly near the top of beer bars in Denver.

Despite having just over 20 taps, they always have an excellent rotating selection, as well as a nice bottle list. The pizza is great and the sandwiches are fantastic. Quality service and decent value with a nice ambiance. A must stop Denver beer destination, especially if you’re hungry. Also, you can get a 3 oz pour of anything on tap.

This place is a lot of fun. The beer selection is really good, and they work really hard to bring beers in that are made by breweries that have similar business models to them, small, local, and handmade. There is a reason one does not see Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, and Coors on tap: these companies are just too big. Their pizza is good, although not traditional. If you want a huge slice of super thin and greasy New York style pizza, this may not be the place you are looking for, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find something you love! The mac and cheese, and the recent addition of sandwiches to the menu are all so so good. But the thing I love about this place, is that I can go in on Monday, drink a beer that won’t be on a few days later, so even though their tap capacity is not as large as say Falling Rock, they manage to move many different styles and specialty beers through. The owner loves IPA, so if you are a connoisseur of the hoppy beers, this is your place, you can try numerous different kinds all in one sitting. This is truly a great little place to enjoy an afternoon or night, and a few beers. Definitely worth going to!

Can’t believe I’ve never rated this...we’re here weekly since I’m lucky enough to have this in my ’hood. One of the best places in town. Constantly rotating taps and great bottle selection with awesome regular tap takeovers including stuff you can’t even buy in CO: Cigar City, Sun King, Firestone, Fifty/Fifty, Green Flash, to name a few. Great pizza, super friendly staff. A bit pricey, but fair. One of the top beer places in Denver, which is saying a lot. Best thing about this place is the variety of out of state stuff they get.

I enjoy the hell out of this place. It is in our hood and the beer selection is constantly changing to stuff that I rarely see other places, including falling rock. I was in again for probably the dozenth time on Saturday and they had Trout Hop from grand Teton, Highway colab. from Stone/Green Flash & Port, Cosecration from RR, One Hit Wonder from Oskar Blues, Pliny The Elder Bottles, Some Stuff from Jolly Pumpkin just a great selection. The pizza is pretty damn good, I like the Artisans over the NY style, but both are tasty. The mac & cheese however is awesome they make it with their house IPA which by the way they run threw a hopback filled with whole flower cascade, awesome. You can sample as much as you like I usually get out of there having tasted at least 6 or 7 sample (free beer) awesome! Anyway guess I just love this place!

Place has a nice vibe, albeit a bit noisy. The beer list is not huge, but a lot of selections you wont find at many other place. They even have their own house pale ale that Strange Brewing brews for them. Pizza is delicious and the Mac & Cheese is amazing!. It is also one of the only spots in town, besides breweries, where you can get tasters of anything on tap. Nice bottle selection, but most are way over priced. Overall, this place is a great place to grab a beer and definitely one of the best beer spots in town.

Kickass place in a friendly neighbourhood close to a few other breweries. 20 taps, extremely well-curated, and everything is available in 3 oz pours for very reasonable prices. Food menu looked awesome, with many vegan options - sadly we had just eaten (next time!) - and specializing in pizzas. Very friendly service. One of the top spots in town. Highly recommended.
