Nice looking place - Quite alot of people here for eating. Good Beers and very cozy place. Beers were a good shape, the place is with wooden interior and little terrace. Very friendly service. Nice place!
Updating after latest visit, on Monday July 31, 2017. Got here straight from the airport, got off the 119 bus from the airport at stop Divoka Sarka. Been to Prague quite a few times since 2005, this is only my second visit here. Met up with two friends, shared a few beers and had dinner. Had some pork back fillet with fries, very nice and filling meal. Sampled the 5 house beers they had available this day. They also had a 6th guest beer, didn’t sample that one, but was something I had rated in the past. "Rychtar Grunt 11, svetly lezak" for 32 Kc, at 4.8%. Nice service, one of the servers spoke some English, one did it quite well. Well worth a stop I’d say. Also located by this stop is the number 26 tram (end/first station). A terrace outside for the ones not wanting to sit inside, or who wants to smoke now that the new law is in effect. I do believe I will return, very nice prices and some pretty good beers, the other decent. Beers cost 31 to 48 Kc for the 0,5 liter pour, the more "expensive ones" are the non traditional, e.g. their IPA.
Older rating: Visited after lunch, Tuesday May 26, 2015. Got there roughly around 14:00? Used bus 119 (towards airport) from Nadrazi Veleslavin (green/A metro) and got off at bus stop Divoka Sarka, then just cross the street is this place. Not a lot of people this hour this Tuesday. Fast attentive service in English. Didn’t eat. They had 4 self made beers and one from a friend brewery on tap this day. Good info on the beers available by the bar. All beers were good, though me and my mate enjoyed the 11 degree pale (Sarka) the most. Recommended as your first or last stop of your trip if arriving/departure by flights to Prague airport and select bus 119 as your transportation. Also worth a trip out there still, not that far or that difficult, and worth it for the beers I’d say.
In fact, this brewery is the closest to Prague Airport and on a direct 119 bus line so an option for those who may be spending some extra hours when changing planes. Otherwise, a perfect bet to end a beautiful hiking in Sarecke udoli, a nice piece of nature not too difficult to reach from the city.
Originally an uninteresting, albeit nice pub, the home beers are usually good, if uninteresting. Good quality and taste, well quenching thirst but not to surprise.
A very convienient stop off point from the airport changing to the trams. 4 beers were on, nothing special but worth it. Service at first was indifferent until he realised we were going through the board and then very helpful, discussing the beers and specials to follow. visted June 2014.
Quite a nice place in the outskirts of Prague. Use tram 26 and get off at the end station. Five of their own beers served during our visit. Beers were average to good, service was nice. A traditional Czech place with mostly locals visiting. Worth the detour.
I didn’t get any brewpub feeling here but we got a table by the bar and service was efficient. And the Libocky beers? Well, to be brief: fair enough. If there is going to be a next time, I will go for a hike in the nearby nature reserve, Divoka Šárka. And of course have at beer or two. (Visited October 6th 2014)
Visited 6.10.14. Located at Divoká Šárka, tram end stop, just cross Evropska and enter this big hospoda. 4 Beers on tap from Libocky, all in good shape at our visit, and reasonable priced at 28 CZK. 2 rooms with an old school Czech interior, slow business at our visit.
