Hah, modern capitalism leanings meet Prague in a new, modern-yet-classic brewpub, very much centrally located, as Camons said, catering to the hordes of tourists that flood the area. The atmosphere was okay, didn't thrill, didn't bother. Quick, very polite, helpful, friendly service, did nearly their best. Now... the place itself is trying its very best to be a tourist trap, albeit a less aggressive one than some. The prices are obviously high for Prague - but not as high as some places, but when you see that even the coasters are actually on sale, for a paltry 5kc, but still, eyes will automatically roll back. Their three beers were all technically without a flaw, figures with the very much experienced brewer, but all were, for Prague / Czech standards, all too ordinary, dull, restrained (and, yeah, overpriced). Great for your average customer I guess... And, regarding that... one sign boasted 2 beers, another (and the menu) boasted 3. We ordered all three, figuring - it's their beer. Then the bill comes claiming Uneticke Svetle and 2 of their own beers. Now, are they out of their pale and serving Unetice silently, is it some random weird bill thing, I dunno. But if it was, it would have been okay to say so and not just think "a pale is a pale". Rated it under their beer but doubts will linger, and it's not a priority place to revisit. Knocked a point (or two!) from the service score because of that. Shame, as the staff is otherwise great. The food was very well made and quite tasty, with the main dish being very much tasty and fairly priced, but the (plain but okay) fries "recommended" with it overpriced. Dunno, who knows, might pop up back in for a beer at some point, but, if you're on a budget, just get the ticks, expect to pay more than other places, and go.
While the inn itself claims a honorable and long tradition, the brewkit installation is very recent. Stylish with its main part made of glass it is a special of its kind (although not unique). Sadly, the offer is very consevrative, only one house beer plus dark beer that in fact is brewed elsewhere. Overpriced and with slow service, this place is reminiscence of all bad tourist traps of the 90´s. Avoid or take one to tick out and leave for more interesting places.
Pedestrian part of Celetna. Spacious place. Noisy tourists at 14 when I was there, and there were not any football.... (norwegian orangutang monkeys from Oslo - I'm so embarrassed by my fellow citizens). U Supa has their own beers. That's what I came for, and got. Ok service.
Was passign by, stopped for just one drink. Rather nice, posh looking place. 2 or 3 beers available. Service was friendly on this afternoon. Beer was decent, not really special. Not the cheapest place i Prague, even the coasters have price tags...
