Smallish place on the main drag just past Neked. Large serving bar and a few restaurant tables. Very friendly staff. Eight or so Czech beers on offer, tasty and cheap, including one polotmavy. Interesting overtly sexist beer ads on the wall from Postrizinske brewery, I was hoping those were getting less common but maybe not. I should return for the food, but not the ads
Great place with several Nymbuk beers on tap and many other Czech beers as well as 2-3 Belgian ones in bottles for very moderate prices; not really wide selection, but still a place which must be visited
Czech beer pub, so local beer available here. Not exactly cozy and completely empty and deserted when we visited late on a Thursday evening. Fair selection of Czech beer. Service was fair enough, but not a place I would visit again or would recommend (unless you’re really looking for some special Czech beers in Budapest)
Their new place overlooks the busiest street of Budapest that isn’t a far walk from the end of Kazinczy street. Inside is spacious but still retains a basic Czech beer hall vibe. Food is, well, Czech, so go there just to drink some genuine Czech beers.
They moved to a new place I think last year. I have been here several times because of the great Czech beers that I can find, but unfortunately there are not too much guests. I could read a book for more than an hour without arriving other beer drinkers. The best thing that the staff allowed me to bring home some bottles of beers and didn’t have to drink there. (I hope the owner don’t read this...)
