Had dinner here with my girfriend this past Sunday. There was a 25 minute wait for a table, so we ate at the bar. I started off with a Wee Heavy, which was delicious. We really enjoyed the food. Service was great. I wish their bottles were a bit less expensive; I’d love to have a few old ales in my fridge right now!
It looked like it was built in an old barn. It was big and spacious to say the least. They have a great sampler even though I didn’t think all the beers were that great. No matter how many beers are on tap, the sampler is $6 and you get a sample of every beer. I was only expecting 6 since those are the regulars advertised but I got 8! Our waitress said sometimes they have 13 in at once! Great deal! I enjoyed my chicken sandwich too! Nice place.
Food was good, friendly service, good beers, brewer came out and talked with us and really took care of us.

I can honestly say this place has the best food out of any brew pub I’ve ever been to. A must is the Pico De Gallo salsa and their Guacamole. Holy crap is that stuff good. Beers are always good and the service the same.
Their Bourbon Porter is by far my favorite beer to drink.
I’ve been to Iron Hill Media a few times and dining experiences have been below average. My last dinner visit was 06.27.05 and will be my last. Food service was spotty, had to repeat requests of napkins, more beer, etc to the waitress numerous times. The food is over priced and sub-par. Beer selection and quality is good. I’ll stick to just going there to drink and avoiding the $10 nachos, St. Louis Ribs that gave me nausea, and the Vietmanese Shrimp plate that was made by a chef who never been to a VN restaurant.
Like the other Iron Hill Locations. Stopped by to try the Pumpkin Ale. Had a bad experience there (being my first time at this location). Waitress went MIA. My beer was empty for 1/2 hour. Food came late and in the wrong order. The manager caught wind of my displeasure and came over, apologized and picked up the check. This was the right thing to do and turned my ’never coming here again’ thought to ’I’ll give them a second chance in the future’.
