A nice place, worth a stop, although it gets busy in the evenings with the yuppie crowd. Best bet for some peace and quiet is right when it opens. Good stock beers and their individual beers are worth a try as well.
Stopped in after lunch at Kildares across the street. Had their sampler of beers, which was generous at $6 for nine healthy samples (eight beers really, but their porter was also on cask). Sat at the bar, and despite being graduation weekend at West Chester, it wasn’t too smoky. Decor is upscale but not stuffy. Staff was helpful in answering questions, and would find out information if they didn’t know the answer. Beers were decent with the APA and Saison standing out.
The third Iron Hill I’ve been to. Decor and menu are the same as the other places, but their special beers were unique. I had the pleasure of trying three new beers. Food is good (get the hot wings), beer is great. These are my favorite brewpubs.
Interesting decor, divided up into multiple segments. I didn’t eat here, but the service was fine, beeres were good. Interesting crowd, almost a college scene.

Decent ambience. The place is a little small. Decent selection and taste for the beers and food, and the reserve beers are awesome. Certainly an above average place.

Great place to have a few pints & enjoy a meal, service is very good & friendly, the Imperial IPA was excellent last time I was there, the Pig Iron Porter is essential, the Ironbound Ale is excellent as well, the ESB is great too if you’re lucky enough for it to be there while you are, food is above average, pizzas are great, always specials going on, great place. UPDATE, June 2011: I feel compelled to write an update for Iron Hill’s West Chester location. Even though all the statements I wrote above are true, they don’t do any sort of justice for this brewpub. I have tried a ton of new beers from Iron Hill WC in the last few weeks, and they have all been stellar. The food is much better than what I made it sound like. It is truely outstanding cuisine. The bruchetta is awesome, the calamari is tasty, and the NY strip is one of the best steaks I have ever had. Order it medium and you’ll get a soft but warm pink middle that just melts in your mouth. And the seasoning on the steak is delicious, along with the mashed potatoes, mushrooms and the cheese sauce. The service is top-notch. I don’t think I have gotten any better service anywhere else. Eveyone at Iron Hill WC knows how to take care of their customers. I’ll be heading back there for their beer and for dinner every time I get the chance!
