Nice comfortable English style pub. Service was very good and helpful, didn’t talk much beer but she was really busy. Selection was good, with a varied mix from all parts of the world. Food was filling pub food. Decent prices and lots of parking, A winner.
Very nice visit to this establishment. Had several hard to find Oklahoma beers. Service was fast and friendly. Tap selection and bottle selection were both excellent. Prices seemed very fair. Will visit whenever I have the chance.
Nice little place, especially for Tulsa. Probably about 50 or so taps, and maybe a couple hundred bottles, great selection - US micro (including Oklahoma beers) plus imports. Food was basic English/Irish pub fare. Burger I had was good. Bartender doesn’t appear to be the most knowledgable about beer, but she’s not doing a bad job. Very decent prices. Will definitely come back if in Tulsa again.
Following what many others have said, this is the place to go to in Tulsa for good beer. This is actually my second trip to Tulsa, but missed out on this place last time I was in town. The place is located in downtown Tulsa and was quite busy on a Wednesday night. Of course it was after I ordered a Monterey Chicken wrap (which was good) did I find out it was $3 burger night! Inside the place is spacious, with a couple bars, decent seating area, and an upstairs for pool and darts. The vibe is woody and cozy in some local beer decor. I sat at the bar, and although they were clearly busy, the service was fast, friendly, and they were willing and able to answer any questions. The beer selection, as stated already, is the best I found in town. They had the best Oklahoma offers, including Marshall and COOP, to go with many other regionals, and a large import list. Oklahoma may not be the beer capital of the world but I left rather impressed with this place. Next time I’m in Tulsa I’ll be sure to go back.
Visited on a Tuesday evening around 6pm was quoted 45 minute wait time, got a beer at the bar and started the wait 60 minutes later no seats still and was told people just aren’t leaving tonight.. So we left.. Pool tables and 2 bars help, smoking room upstairs is first come first serve
Have visited twice when I’ve been up to Tulsa. Good selection of beers on tap for Oklahoma. Crowded, but that’s what you get when you draw a lot of beer fans. Good atmosphere. Pub grub food hits the spot and is appropriate for this type of establishment - the beer is the star.
Definitely the best place to have a beer if you are a "beer snob" and in Tulsa. They have virtually every beer you can get in Oklahoma, if not on tap than in bottle or can. They have special releases of kegs from the local and regional breweries. They also have "pint night" and "3 dollar burger night" every week. The food is exactly what you would expect (burgers, fries etc) and service is good! I have always had great service unless its a BUSY night. Waitresses could be more educated on beer though, but they know the menu front to back. Just the best place to go in Tulsa if your seeking great atmosphere, good food and great beers! try this one out!!

Service is consistently mediocre to poor, selection is good though. What really kills this place is the poor layout for catching bands, and the clientele is a mish-mash of hipsters, posers, and the like.
McNellie’s is right in downtown Tulsa, and from everything I’d read, it was the place to go for a beer bar. Looks like I got good advice. The inside is exactly what I want a bar/restaurant to feel like- woody, lived-in, vibrant, and heavy on character without being kitschy or pretentious in any way. The tap list is very strong, with Oklahoma well represented and a number of other great American and foreign brews. There are over 60 taps and almost 300 bottles as of Summer 2010. I started with an Oklahoma-centric beer flight to introduce me to the local stuff. The food is definitely above-average pub grub. The service was very good; we sat at the bar and all servers and bartenders were really friendly and were sure to give opinions about the food and any other questions we had. If I ever make it back to Tulsa, I’m coming back here.
McNellie’s is the beerpub to go to in Tulsa, OK. There is no other competiton if a well-rounded beer drinking evening is what you want.
The food menu is good. Pub style munchable’s like burgers, chips and salsa, etc. They also have cheese or fruit trays available from time to time. Yes, as it has been stated in several other reviews, the sweet potato fries are indeed quite tasty.
The beer menu is where they truly shine, though. It can almost be said that if it is available in Oklahoma, then it’s available here. I’ve never noticed more than an item or two at a time that wasn’t on the menu here. About 60 tap selections available and almost four(4) times that in bottles or cans.
If you’re in Tulsa for life or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.
