Right across the street from Csak a Jó Sör and very much worth visiting. Solid taplist of mostly Hungarian beers and mostly hoppy stuff. No flights or small pours, just 0.2L and 0.4L pours. Staff are happy to give free samples and are very friendly and helpful. Place itself is kind of impersonal and is basically a burger joint. Prices are higher than other places. Worth a stop.
Solid recommendation from the staff at Ogre Bacsi. Fancy modern decor on two levels plus some sidewalk tables, and a long central bar. Food was apps and burgers, limited menu but tasty. Large variety of beers, some held over from recent tap takeovers for BCBW. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good stop.
Visited May 2018. On recommendation from the young lady dressed up as in the sixties.. Great choise.. Modern style gastropub, serving burgers ( and others ).. Friendly service.. Easy to find. Not that many seatings downstairs but more upstairs.. But they got plugs at the womens toilets in case you need recharging your mobils.. WiFi.. Beers served in good condition..They do 0,2 sample. For sure worth a visit..
Gastropub with burgers and craft beers. Rather busy this Wednesday evening but I found a seat by the bar - my favourite spot. 16 taps, 14 Hungarian craft beers and two Euro crap. Tap list on Untappd. Beers served as 20 cl or 40 cl. Free tasters. I tried three beers fom Brew Your Mind and one from Synthesis, all strong, dark or hoppy. Great beers! The young female bartender was top notch. She was talkative about the beers I choose and was super attentive during my stay. Great music played too, mostly rock music. Brew Your Mind Dark Power in the glass listening to Gimme Shelter by Rolling Stone is not bad! Don't hesitate, this is a must visit in Budapest. (Visited March 28th 2018)
This place looks more like a bistro / restaurant than a beer pub. They had 7 active taps when I was there but nothing in the way of bottles that I could see; all taps were hungarian craft. The two / three beers that I tried were all pretty good. Service was decent. Didn't try the food. Prices were good. Not bad, worth a visit if in the area.
Visited on 25th May 2017. In a block of quite a few decent venues this is the place I liked the most. It’s got a nice modern feel to it, plenty of seating on ground floor plus upstairs, a great range of Hungarian craft beer on tap, the range had beers we didn’t see in many other places and some interesting stuff, service was good, prices good value. If want some good Hungarian craft beer then this is a really good start.
In the "beer belt" of Budapest, with plenty of bricks wood metal and concreate. Quite stylish. They have up to 16 taps of entirely Hungarian craft beer and these were beers that I did not generally see in the rest of the city, so plenty of ticks. Friendly staff and good service. Solid wi-if too. The food looked good but I didn’t eat. They were serving food pretty late though which is a bonus. I look forward to many more visits here in the years to come.
