Nice old and extremely quirky place right by the cathedral. It’s filled to the brim with religious statues and strange paintings. While the beer selection offers no surprises, the food was great and it’s a fun place for dinner.
I’m not sure why this is listed with two or three other much better places right around the corner. The interior is the only reason to come - every nook is full of plastic Jesus and Mary statues. Otherwise the menu looks to be standard Belgian fare (which I passed on) and the beers a reasonable selection. However it is nothing remarkable even for the area around the Cathedral. Only come here if you run out of other bars first.
I came in too early, just opened, 1st guest. Therefor no atmosphere. Interesting location and decoration, feel like I am in church and confession is required. Standard beers, even small list. Its the place that does it, unique.

I have fond memories of this place because of 1) the jam-packed collection of religious statuary, and 2) that the barkeep suggested the first La Trappe Quad that I ever had.
