About 30 or so bottles avaialble here ... largely Hungarian micros, a few non HU stuff that was of no interest to me and some of what I suspect were larger regional HU brewers buying into the craft bandwagon. Service was ok. I expected more from the #1 rated bottle store in Budapest and if this hadn't been over the street from my hotel (Ibis centrum - highly recommended for cost, location and transport links), I'd have been pissed off making an effort to come out here for this amount of beers on offer. I didn't get to another bottle shop during my day in Budapest so have nothing to comapre with.
Very close to MONYO, so I decided to have a look. Tiny shop with a few dozen Hungarian locals, and maybe a few non-local beers. Service wasn’t engaging. Nothing special, but probably a good spot for Hungarian beers.
This place is also called "Beer To Go" A small bottle shop focusing on Hungarian craft beers. I purchased two bottles. Only 50 bottles? I think there were more than that in the shelves. Friendly and helpful service from the young man at work. Fun fact: a dude came in and picked up eggs he seemed to have ordered. Craft eggs, the next big thing? (Visited March 27th 2018 with my wife)
small bottle shop with hungarian craft. I came about half an hour before closing time, so the shopman was not too talkative. the selection is very good, however, if you are looking for local stuff (they had some spanish la pirata bottles, when I was there, but it was pretty much all). no taps.
Small shop close to the town center. Big selection of Hungarian beers, and few international.
The service is OK, got some nice recommendations.
If you are looking to meet Hungarian craft scene this is the place.
