The name (100 beers) suggests a large selection, but in reality only a fraction of their menu was available. And among those, nothing really fancy. Go to Beer O’Clock for more bottles.
Stood at a table outside, as the interior was smoked through. Prices are reasonable. Not bad, not great either.
If you look for something different, try this place! You will not find regular beers (like Heineken, Carlsberg, Tuborg, Stella Artois etc..), but you will find craft beers, Belgian, German, UK, Irish, American and many other beers you will not find anywhere in the city. So, if you love beer, you will love this place.
The best beer place in Bucharest. It’s the place we usually spend the most of our time. Great selection of German and Belgian, also Romanian crafts.
Great location in the old city area.
The food is very good and the burger is a must to try.
Visited in August 2015. Dim, German-style interior with a dodgy bartender. They had Zaganu on tap, which was the prime reason to visit. Early in the day the interior didn’t look really inviting but we sat outside and enjoyed the sight of all the gorgeous women walking by. But this one is rather not a must visit when you’re in town.
One of the best place to drink beer in Romania. La 100 de Beri is a somewhat small bar located in the heart of the most pleasant lively area of Bucharest, surrounded by restaurants, other bars, etc. This part of old Bucharest with pedestrian streets full of lively businesses is a really nice area to hang out. Nothing special inside, I went there 4 times and every times I sat on the front patio on the busy pedestrian street. As it is often the case in Romania, very limited tap selection. A nice bottle menu, well organized. Bottles from breweries such as Franziskaner, Weismainer, Hutthurmer, Plank, Weihenstephaner, Riedenburger, Warsteriner, Augustiner, Paulaner, even a French brewery I had never heard about (Meteor). Prices are not the cheapest I found in this country, to the contrary, but you pay for drinking in this area. Very friendly service. I drank a bunch of different Hutthurmer which is an excellent German brewery I had never tried, some Plank and others.
