Pretty cool pub setting with a lot of seating and beer old school beer décor. Servers were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They had six or seven of their beers on tap as well as many bottles from other craft breweries. The had the salmon croquetas and they were good but a little overpriced. The beer, however, was severely overpriced considering their pedestrian quality. None of their beers were good...........didn’t really have much flavor or aroma and were quite watery. Overall I’d rather just go to a craft beer pub with better prices but I’m glad I tried the place I suppose.
A generic name for a generic brewpub withgeneric beers. Don’t get me wrong, I was happy to sit here and tick a few of their beers, but don’t expect anything crazy. Having said that, there were some more experimental beers on tap (Apricot Lime Pale Ale...) so who knows what’s coming? Quality is okay. Oddly the few people that were around in this roomy bar (it was early and empty) ordered craft from other brewers such as BrewDog and De Molen. A bit of a dark place to be, but good to stop by for some ticking. Friendly service, despite some language issues at first.
*Service presque sympa, mais la réponse sur la bière "I dont know I dont drink smoked beer..." ah bon ok, merci.
Nice looking place - classic pub style with brewery behind glass doors. Selection, apart from their own beers, is very good. 3 Fonteinen, American craft beers, Belgians on tap and bottle etc. The brewpub beers were pretty crappy with lots of weird flavours. Service however was excellent. The guy who served us beers didn’t come with the usual stupid "info" on the beers, but was really knowledgable about the beer and the styles they had.
Nice brewpub and relaxing atmosphere early in the evening. About 75 bottles in the menu, but I focused only on their own beer from tap. I tried all five and would not rate any of them as world class beer. But, some were quite ok and the new Imperial Stout 11,0 % was the best. The waiter told me a lot about their beer but it was hard to find any information about ABV. (Visited July 16th 2013)
Cozy place, large square bar in the center with tables all around. Visible brewing equipment. The beers were pretty average, but they had a fairly large and interesting bottle selection of Other People’s Beers. Service was decent enough, tapas were OK.
Happened to be the first place we visited in the city. They had at least 8 of their own beers, while currently only 5, ranging from good to excellent. They also had quite nice bottle selection of other Spanish micros and some better European and US crafted beers. Ambiance is just great, with brewing equipment visible from almost everywhere inside and staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Also English speaking. Food was OK, but more like a tapas (snack) and pretty expensive. Beer prices were usual for the city. Generally a must in Barcelona, it’s not only a brewpub!
