Visited on a Friday afternoon in July and there was a 2-hour wait until the next available tour, so we opted out. Thankfully, you can still enjoy a beer or 6, which we did. Interesting location in an old warehouse-like location on the river. Cavernous ball room for a tasting bar. Decent enough. Wish they had more than 5 of their beers on tap; a few others were available in their small gift shop. (Brewery #615)

I was among the first to tour Lakefront back in the River west days. I had not been back to the brewery since the move to the river, but my goodness, what a change. The facility is tremendous. Beautifully done, and the wit, personality and class of the original is still maintained. Many thanks to the KiIschís for their contribution to Milwaukee.
100 = ★★★★★ (A very special beer place)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Gargantuan beer hall in a large old industrial building which itself adds some touches of charm. The bar serves as a serving station but there are many communal style tables. Flights of 5 for $8. Beer quality generally good but nothing too out of the box. A couple of cask offerings not available in the flight but the bartender gave me a small taste of each. Tap list is the usual suspects plus several seasonals. Parking could get tight. Overall worth a stop.
Awesome place! Absolutely great service. The guy showed us the old brewery building and told us about the beers. It was too early for a real ($7) tour but we got what we wanted. Absolutely great place to visit.
Went specifically for the once-a-week environmental tour with the President. Jam packed tour, lots of people doing the Riverwalk brewery thing. Very large place, and lots of staff helped ease the crush, as well as the slightly laid back nature of the locals. Corny tour, but hey we like corny jokes. very generous with pouring lots of beers on tap to taste. Very nice area with tables in back to complete the tour. A good deal, lots of tours available. One bartender really knew his stuff and thatís the one I stayed near for recommendations and knowledge.

Brewery tours are on the hour and cost money but you get beer tasters with the tour. Tour lasts for 45 min though and Iím told is quite the hilarious tour. Food available but we didnít try. Was able to order all the beers they have on tap in two tasting flights for $16 for 10 samplers. Served in plastic cups, ugh. Beers were underwhelming but none of them were bad. Only a couple, three at most, were tap only specials. So if you are local, it may not be very interesting. Overall, fun touristy stop but not necessarily a place I would recommend detouring for.
Fun place...really cool building inside and out...some funny sculptures outside...and especially love the huge front doors! This place is certainly a party atmosphere at times. It can get crowded quickly as it is the largest craft brewer in Milwaukee and they have a large tap room that accommodates sizable tour groups. As for the beers...average to good by my tastes. None of them was exceptional on the day I visited...even given I tried all their beers in flight sizes. Nonetheless I recommend a visit here if in the area...as the place itself is worth the visit and a group of people would certainly have a good time here.
This is a very fun vibe. Basically a huge beer warehouse feel. Interesting collection of visitors, but it seems to attract new beer people who donít know anything about beer. The tour with 4 samples a glass is a good deal, but its nothing outside of the normal brewery tour. The beers are average at best. Despite being a fun place, I canít see myself visiting again.
Location on the river with the backdrop of decaying buildings. The brewery itself, as well as the grounds, are well kept. There is a nice patio in back for tastings in the summertime, and beer is also available for those not on the tour. I was turned away for the tour because it was sold out, but I was 30 minutes early so this was a surprise. Staff were friendly. No special beers were available.
