One of the most fun and most informative beer tours that I have been to! The owner walks you around and is fun and candid. You actually learn a great deal of info! The beers are on tap or available for bottle (single or six) purchase. Logo wear is available and cheap. A MUST visit.

I was among the first to tour Lakefront back in the River west days. I had not been back to the brewery since the move to the river, but my goodness, what a change. The facility is tremendous. Beautifully done, and the wit, personality and class of the original is still maintained. Many thanks to the KiIsch’s for their contribution to Milwaukee.
100 = ★★★★★ (A very special beer place)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
One of my favorite breweries. The tours are enjoyable and a good value. All of their beers are absolutely drinkable. You aren’t going to find anything over the top, but there is something for everyone.
This review is for the tour as well as the private parties I’ve been to. The tour is awesome. I never walk(stumble) awy not satisfied. It’s informitive and fun. Plus you get to drink the whole tour. I’ve been to a couple weddings and their annual new years party also. Talk about heaven All the lakefront beer you can drink and the food is phenominal. I’m lucky enough to be going to another wedding in October.
This place just feels like somewhere you’re not only supposed to drink beer, but a place you want to drink beer. It’s truly a beer hall in pretty much every sense of the word, it could easily be the setting of a medieval feast, or a farmer’s "hoe down." The staff is great, very passionate about beer, very knowledgeable about beer, they just seem to fully enjoy their jobs. Excellent selection too, pretty much every Lakefront Beer you could want (within season) is available. The only downside is I wish they would’ve had a better glassware selection - they do sell glass boots and oversized steins along with the standard shaker, but I wouldn’t really foresee drinking out of said boot or stein; they’re more novelty items. $5 pints, $8 for a flight of 5 samples ... pretty good by midwest urban standards. The tour is excellent, but I personally just like the taproom aspect. I noticed during my most recent visit they serve food too (when did that start?) but I have not sampled their fare yet.
A must in Milwaukee. They have at least 5 of their beers on tap at any given time. Sometimes they have some of their most recently brewed beer and upcoming seasonal brews tapped downstairs. If the beer you want isn’t tapped upstairs, you can barter with the bartenders to get it in the bottle.
A great way to spend a couple of hours. The tour guides are fun and funny. More about drinking beer than making beer. $7.00 gets you 4 samples and a pint glass to take home. DONT use all of your tokens before the tour starts, they offer a wider variety of refills during the tour, on the brewery floor, than in the greeting area. A great way to spend a few hours.
