Stopped in a Saturday afternoon, really crowded. Plenty of picnic tables, so similar to a German beer hall. We grabbed a sampler and some cheese curds, both were really good. Parking could be dicey, but still easy to find a spot. Worth a stop if in the area.
Big beer hall with self serve at the bar and food concession, but they were friendly. Took the tour and the guide was fun. I only ate the fried cheese curds, but I thought they were tasty (had them a couple of other places that weren’t as good). Prices were decent. Pretty good variety of their own brews. Solid.
Gargantuan beer hall in a large old industrial building which itself adds some touches of charm. The bar serves as a serving station but there are many communal style tables. Flights of 5 for $8. Beer quality generally good but nothing too out of the box. A couple of cask offerings not available in the flight but the bartender gave me a small taste of each. Tap list is the usual suspects plus several seasonals. Parking could get tight. Overall worth a stop.
Fun place...really cool building inside and out...some funny sculptures outside...and especially love the huge front doors! This place is certainly a party atmosphere at times. It can get crowded quickly as it is the largest craft brewer in Milwaukee and they have a large tap room that accommodates sizable tour groups. As for the beers...average to good by my tastes. None of them was exceptional on the day I visited...even given I tried all their beers in flight sizes. Nonetheless I recommend a visit here if in the area...as the place itself is worth the visit and a group of people would certainly have a good time here.
This is a very fun vibe. Basically a huge beer warehouse feel. Interesting collection of visitors, but it seems to attract new beer people who don’t know anything about beer. The tour with 4 samples a glass is a good deal, but its nothing outside of the normal brewery tour. The beers are average at best. Despite being a fun place, I can’t see myself visiting again.
An old warehouse converted into a brewery, this is a must stop if you want to go to a Milwaukee brewery. The tour itself is epic! Kudos to them for recently getting rid of the lawn chairs in the dining hall. Fish fry is pretty good, too.

Brewery tours are on the hour and cost money but you get beer tasters with the tour. Tour lasts for 45 min though and I’m told is quite the hilarious tour. Food available but we didn’t try. Was able to order all the beers they have on tap in two tasting flights for $16 for 10 samplers. Served in plastic cups, ugh. Beers were underwhelming but none of them were bad. Only a couple, three at most, were tap only specials. So if you are local, it may not be very interesting. Overall, fun touristy stop but not necessarily a place I would recommend detouring for.
Very cool building with a huge beer hall. Lots of long tables. I highly recommend the tour - our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable and entertaining. $7 tour includes 4 tasters, a pint glass to take home, and a voucher for one free beer at a large list of local bars.
Lakefront sits on the Milwaukee river front just north of downtown. Large 2 story building with the brewing on the first floor and a large beer hall on the second floor. They do serve food in the beer hall but I did not have any as I was just visiting to take the tour. For $7 you get a pint glass and 4 6 ounce pours. The tour is fun with part beer education and the other part comedy show. It’s supposed to be one of the better tours in the country and it’s one of the better ones I’ve been on. They keep it light with areas along the tour to get refills on your beer. Lakefront beers are all above par and a few that were on tap were seasonals or experimential beers not yet released. Well worth the hour and money. The employees all seem to really enjoy their jobs and it shows with the enthusiastic tour.
