The place was full of people. Also loads of people drinking beer in front of the pub. Most of the tables were for customers who wanted to order some food, so if you just drink beer you can’t use them. However, there were some place on the counter. When we arrived, some free food was served on the counter. I was told by the bartender that I could eat it if I want. After shot time the food was removed. I don’t know what was going on :). They served only their own beer and one had very vast selection of beers; tap beer as well as bottles.
I think that there should be more bartenders because those who were there didn’t manage to do all the job fast. So one had to wait quite a while before being served.
All in all, if you and in Milan and you want to try Lambrate beer, I will definitely recommend this place!
Visited a friday afternoon around 1.00, place was full, but we found a place at the bar until there was a free table for us. Even though busy service here was nice, friendly and efficient. About 15 taps of Lambrate beers, including a few handpumps. Some bottles asweel. Dont think they normally do samplers, but i was given a tray with small pours of the last 8 beers or so after ticking my way though the first half. Beers was well made and covers a nice spectre of styles. Had some salat and chicken for lunch wich was nice. Good prices and overall a nice place to have a beer. Ill like to return.
Not very big place, quite simple, very crowded. Selection is limited to their own beer but there’s a beer for every taste and average quality is very high. Good prices too for the city. Didn’t try any food except for the average aperitivo stuff.
We arrived here just after 6pm and there was a crowd of people outside waiting for them to open. Everyone rushed in. Inside most of the tables were reserved. We found one with a later time on it. I soon relised that the buffet food on the end of the bar was free. I managed to get served quite quickly, but it took a few minutes for the beer to settle and to get a full glass. If you were sitting outside you were served in a plastic glass, which seemed quicker to pour into. All the beers were from Lambrate. We’ed only had one of the beers before on our visit to Rome, so plenty for us to choose from. The buffet was simple stuff like rice, pasta & bread and some cheese & salami.
Nice pub that gets crowded rather quickly.
Most of the Lambrate available and this time they had some news ones. All in all about 12 beers to try which is ample and with enough styles to satisfy me.
Friendly service at the bar despite the fact that the place was packed. Was able to sample some of the beers free of charge. Downside is that it gets rather noisy.
Food menu was good and a better alternative than the Lambrate brezery location. Had the mixed plate of meat with the ravioli. Atmosphere was good with many locals but also students from the university area.
