One of the better spots in town and very centrally located. 10 beers on draft, but the menu is written very poorly: without brewery names and staff don’t really know much, so it’s a pain to figure out what you’re ordering / drinking. Flights of 5 available for 1000 HUF, a bit steep for this country. Decent bottle selection of Hungarian locals as well. Comfortable place and good for some ticks. Worth a stop.
Smallish bar stretched over two floors in a vibrant neighbourhood. Somewhat narrow, probably due to the fact that it was pretty crowded on a Friday evening. Atmosphere was lively and relaxed. Solid tap list with a focus on Hungarian micros, and a large bottle list full of Hungarian goodies for good prices. Self-service, staff behind the bar was quick and friendly. Good place for hunting Hungarian micros.
Visited with Zlotta, fonefan and Brugmansia, cheers. Smallish bar downstairs with a couple of stools, pretty crowded when we stopped in after BPBW so we went upstairs. Decent tap selection, very large and well organized bottle list, in English, so exploring new Hungarian breweries is easy. Ordered the magyar poutine which bore no resemblance whatsoever to actual poutine, and seemed more like packaged fast food. Worth a stop.
Visited May 2018. This bar can easy be missed if not looking out for it.. Friendly service.. Nice and quiet atmosphere.. beer served in good condition.. Mainly hungarian beers both on tap and bottle... look out for this place.. worth visiting..
Hungarian craft beer bar, great beer selection but draught beer menu on the wall without brewery name. How hard can it be to add brewery name?? Anyhow, friendly service from the young barmaid. Choose between 3 dl or 5 dl. Luckily my wife helped me drinking half.... Tried beers from Feher Nyul, Hopfanatic and Monyo. Ok music as well. (Visited March 26th 2018 with my wife)
Bit sparse looking modern craft beer bar with about ten taps of Hungarian micros complemented by a large bottle menu, of which we tried several. Prices are fair but not the cheapest in town. They can improve a little by mentioning the brewery on the board though. Definitely worth a visit.
