From the same folks that brought us The Brick Store Pub. Take great Karma from people who know and love beer, add a funky cool environment along with an incredibly knowledgeable staff and unique fun/tasty food and you got an amazing beer bar. Every beer served in the proper glass at proper the temperature. This place will do very well for all the right reasons.

Visited in February 2017. It was Saturday and place was totally packed in the evening. After 22.00 there was much more room. Food was OK and tap list was good.

Hip little place in Decatur town centre. Tends to cater to the young uns. Dark but atmospherically rather that dingily so. 12 beers on tap, some local but most dedicated to the great and good of USA brewing. A full can and bottle list as well, which is illustrated by a clear beer menu. Not the biggest selection but they know their beer, and quality is more important than quantity. Friendly, beer-focused and basically a good place to be.

Nicer mid to upscale hip vibe with a big outdoor patio and lots of wood tables inside, a decent sized bar as you walk in. Service was great, very nice, knew the menu well, knew enough about beer. Selection was solid, slightly rare tap list with a well selected bottle list, to be expected when owned by the brick store guys. Food was fantastic, options across the board. A bit pricey, but expected for that area of town. Definitely worth a stop!

A very nice open plan place with outdoor and indoor areas so it felt like being in a large garden room. There’s an area that’s just a bar and the rest is mainly given over to dining, with scrubbed pine tables and an uncluttered but cosy atmosphere. The food was out of the ordinary - top notch and based on locally sourced ingredients. I wondered why they didn’t serve more local beer too, although the list was pretty good, with 14 taps and around 48 bottles. (Visited 19 February 2014).

Visited late on 03/11/15. Located a stone’s throw from Brick Store. Nice upscale bar with a large outdoor area. This place features a bocce court, which is pretty cool. The tap list was modest but featured some solid options from the likes of Terrapin, Firestone Walker etc. The bottle list was pretty limited. Food and service were both great. The group next to me was eating a mussel dish that looked fantastic. Overall, this was a nice stop. I’d definitely return if I was in the area, especially if the weather was cooperating and I could enjoy the patio.

Same owners as Brick Store. Solid place to stop for good food and local or locally available beer. Get the fries.

A very nice stop in Decatur, on par with Brick Store. Nice atmosphere with, lots of outdoor seating and a bocce court. Small but very well thought out draft list, haven’t explored the bottle list much but its solid. No reason not to go here.

Just happened to visit right after their anniversary party so the tap list was pretty amazing. They were pretty busy so service wasn’t great. I had a Hop Slam and BA Raspy on tap.

How in the hell have I walked past this place for so many years not realizing they had an awesome tap list? Well now I do. There is only a dozen or so taps but those taps are amazing. I had Stone Best By 4-1 and a Gueuze Tilquin on tap which was my first gueuze ever on tap. The service was friendly and the bartender was really cool. Apparently this place is owned by the same people who own Brick Store. Check it out!

Large but cozy place, efficient staff even though they were fairly busy. Nice draft list, decent bottle list. Very tasty food, more selection that Brick Store. Worth trying.
