Visited on a busy Friday night, and the wait was an hour. Sat outside immediately, and were waited on almost immediately. Had an Oskar Blues Smiddy on draft as well as a nice meal. Appetizers were bacon in a glass with peanut butter (enjoyed by the others) and I had a nice salad with hummus and a vegetarian special. Flavors were very good, and while the service was decent, the food and the beer selection was very enjoyable. I will be back next time I am in Decatur.
Hip little place in Decatur town centre. Tends to cater to the young uns. Dark but atmospherically rather that dingily so. 12 beers on tap, some local but most dedicated to the great and good of USA brewing. A full can and bottle list as well, which is illustrated by a clear beer menu. Not the biggest selection but they know their beer, and quality is more important than quantity. Friendly, beer-focused and basically a good place to be.
Nicer mid to upscale hip vibe with a big outdoor patio and lots of wood tables inside, a decent sized bar as you walk in. Service was great, very nice, knew the menu well, knew enough about beer. Selection was solid, slightly rare tap list with a well selected bottle list, to be expected when owned by the brick store guys. Food was fantastic, options across the board. A bit pricey, but expected for that area of town. Definitely worth a stop!
A very nice open plan place with outdoor and indoor areas so it felt like being in a large garden room. Thereís an area thatís just a bar and the rest is mainly given over to dining, with scrubbed pine tables and an uncluttered but cosy atmosphere. The food was out of the ordinary - top notch and based on locally sourced ingredients. I wondered why they didnít serve more local beer too, although the list was pretty good, with 14 taps and around 48 bottles.

Visited late on 03/11/15. Located a stoneís throw from Brick Store. Nice upscale bar with a large outdoor area. This place features a bocce court, which is pretty cool. The tap list was modest but featured some solid options from the likes of Terrapin, Firestone Walker etc. The bottle list was pretty limited. Food and service were both great. The group next to me was eating a mussel dish that looked fantastic. Overall, this was a nice stop. Iíd definitely return if I was in the area, especially if the weather was cooperating and I could enjoy the patio.
A very nice stop in Decatur, on par with Brick Store. Nice atmosphere with, lots of outdoor seating and a bocce court. Small but very well thought out draft list, havenít explored the bottle list much but its solid. No reason not to go here.
How in the hell have I walked past this place for so many years not realizing they had an awesome tap list? Well now I do. There is only a dozen or so taps but those taps are amazing. I had Stone Best By 4-1 and a Gueuze Tilquin on tap which was my first gueuze ever on tap. The service was friendly and the bartender was really cool. Apparently this place is owned by the same people who own Brick Store. Check it out!
Do not miss LFS, although donít leave it too late either, in January in 35í it was packed outside as well. Bacon in a glass, sounds fairly ordinary, but a great beer appetizer, especially when dipped in hot peanut butter! All the food I had was great, and the beer selection stock!
