This is where you can have a couple of drinks after the brewery tour. The price of the tour is very nice, knowing that you get 3 tasting samples + a 6-pack as well. However, the selection was rather limited, and they ran out of the (new) Saison Dry Hop 2016 before even half of our group had ordered their first beer, which was disappointing to quite a few people, as we came with a bus of beer geeks.
This is for the tour of brewery, and the tasting conducted afterwards. English tour arranged in advance by SamGamgee, and luck would have it, led by the head guy himself, Olivier Dedecker. Got to see the entire operation with insight on how they keep things traditional. Tour included three tastings samples of cheese, and a 6 pack to go, great deal! If you like their stuff, a must see when over there. World class.

Though the Les Caves biercafe was not open during our visit, La Forge was indeed open, located just down the main road. Brasserie Dupont accepts visitors to their front office for purchases, with these two cafes serving as drinking outposts. It was quite amusing asking for a single 33cl bottle of Biologere and having it driven out of the brewery by a forklift operator who is more used to delivering full cases to the front office.
Tiny little cafe in the middle of a tiny country village. Awesome setting, really liked it. The service was extremely friendly even though we didn’t speak the language very well. A few locals in there. Nothing crazy on tap or in the cold case but really relaxed and country type feel.
Cafe of maybe 10 seats, small fridge in the corner for bottles. Between that and the taps, nearly everything they’ve every done. Dirt cheap, extremely hospitable service, language-tolerant despite being set this far into the country. Most of the beers can be had elsewhere, but if stopping by, enjoy a fresh pint and a quick relax in a cheap cafe that gives you the space you need.
Visited 15 August 2011. Fairly plain cafe across from the brewery. I was lucky it was open as it is now usually shut on Monday, but this was a holiday. Sadly, all the locals were drinking the pils instead of the excellent draught Saison. Very good value: I tried five beers including Bons Vieux and the bill was €11. They had no food on this day.

Atmospheric place across from the brewery. Very friendly proprietress, extremely tolerant of our rudimentary French. Has nearly all the Dupont range, set in beautiful countryside. Worth going out of your way for.
Place right in front of the farmhouse. During the day it was quiet to say the least as was the rest of the village and herein lays the atmosphere of this quaint Wallonian village.
As a Belgian it’s hard to explain a village bar atmosphere but Les Caves fits that image perfectly.
Six taps with a friendly bartender. Few locals come in to sip on the house pils, and it was actually fun to listen to them speak in a mix of French and local Walloon. That in itself puts the whole atmosphere. A few Dupont employees came after work to chat to drink beers which is always fun to listen to their stories.
Prices are more than reasonable. Beers are cheap with all the Dupont selection available to as well as the Moinette cheese and glassware. Prices to go are even cheaper than the menu list price.
There is not much else to do in the village. The ride to and from the brewery offers a nice scenic route of the Wallonian farmland.
