A modern resturant that prviously also brewed some beers. The brewpot is now just a decoration piese in the resturant and all there tap beers are from other local breweries. Seemed like a hip place located in a fancy part of Berlin. Bit high prices.
Inside Sony Center. I asked for their brews, the waiter told that they don’t brew anything on the premises. I went for Naturtrüb. Beer was average and overpriced. The beer was served in Berliner Pilsener glass, so no bonus for that. It’s a tourist place, nothing special, but premises were ok, if you are not hunting beers.

Went here Sunday 17th November 2013. The centre within which this place resides is a particularly impressive structure especially when viewed at night, the roof sonehow attaches itself to 2-3 buildings, however it is left open in places. The roof also changes colour from purple through to blue and when you look out beyond this to a neighbouring heavily lit skyscraper the view is very ’Bladerunneresque’ especially on a very wet afternoon early evening such as today. Back to the bar itself, it sits close to a Sony shop and is a modern brewpub that is popular. Tidy place does a brisk trade with food, beer choice is limited but beer is ok if not too exciting. There are two floors and quite a lot of seating, (they serve you) Fine.
No idea if they actually brew here: I doubt it. A tourist brew-pub in the very modern Sony Centre buildings on Pottsdammer Platz.
I’ve used it three or four times now, out of convenience more than my design.
Foody and clinical sort of place: service fine and the beers fresh (where ever they come from): food big and hearty.
Pop in by all means but it isn’t a beery destination really.
In 2007 I wrote this about it on Beer Advocate:
Three levels, brewing kit is the centre piece of each level, as it rises up through this new build brewpub. This area of Berlin is all new since the wall fell in 1989, I can remember Potsdamer Platz being a wasteland.
All glass and coppers, this is what the new Berlin is all about, I really prefered the old Berlin. I don’t like high stools and high tables, this is full of both on the ground floor.
Service, beer and food was fine, the salads are huge, try one. A brewpub for tourists, but is worth finding and having their beers.
