Free dedicated parking. Store lay out is like the newer LB with the growler station I. The back center. Service was average st this location. Prices were pretty good. I found a couple bottles. I would come back.

the new stores this one and the on in Jefferson commons are identical in nature, well lit and all aisles marked accordingly to make it easy to find. wines up front and to the right and spirits on the left. all beer is spread across the back of the store along with a growler filling station and sampling area. the store is nice and clean and easy to move around in. they do carry several specialty bourbons and you can taste those as well. overall very nice store in a good location.

Overview: Liquor Barn (Middletown Commons) is built to nearly the same specifications as Liquor Barn (Jefferson Commons). In order not to be unduly redundant, read there if you’d like a description of the physical space.

Service was Todd, a friendly fellow who knew his products when I had a few questions about the beer on tap. I’d say that the selection here (on tap and on the shelves) was superior to the Jefferson Commons location (lots of beer, but a bit more generic). You can tell some pride and personalization of the beer selection is going on here; I will add the growler bar beers available as an example. If you’d like to see the current growler station menu, click the "beer menu" link and type in "40223" under "locations." Food available and value are equivalent to the Jefferson Commons location.

PROS: I really like the 6 oz. pour options for in-store consumption; singles selection is better than most Liquor Barn locations. CONS: Nothing glaring- it would be nice to have full pours available. Maybe mix up the styles on tap a bit- too many IPAs. OVERALL: Probably the best LB in town excepting the Springhurst (Town Center) location. Easy access from Gene Snyder Freeway (just off the exit) and parking is ample because of the shopping center location.
