Beer selection was not what I was expecting. It is by far weaker than their wine and liquor selections. Kind of sketchy place with several homeless people inside. Employee didn’t know anything about beer even though he asked if he could help me. On a good note, everyone that worked there was very nice and the prices were better than other places in the area. Why would anyone go here instead of Hazel’s?
Huge place selling huge selection of beers and spirits. Friendly staff a whole lot of hard to find stuff and they even have glassware. Great store wish I had a place like this near home!

Large liquor store that has a decent amount of beer. The beer staff is disappointing- they’re a bunch a arrogant guys that really think they know a lot of about beer...but don’t. They use to be better and nicer but the arrogance and lack of knowledge has really gotten out of control. Prices a little high sometimes and it’s hard to find real ’gems’ on the shelves (employees probably pick them over before they get out). Worth asking staff if they having something you want in the back, I’ve had them say yes a couple of times.
Overall, place is a bit rundown, dingy. Prices aren’t that great. But large selection.
One of the big liquor stores in town. Stopped in to pick up a few things with Mike and Bobby. Tons of beers out on the shelves and in a number of coolers. Much bigger selection of singles than I saw at most other stores, which I liked. Prices are pretty comparable to the other liquor stores that we visited. Really wide variety of Colorado beers plus tons of imports from all over the world and beers from all over the US.

Yet another large store with a ton of beer. This one is pretty good, maybe not as good as Hazels but definitely better than Harvest. The whole right side of the store is dedicated to beer and the fridge doors are all part of one large fridge that you can walk into. In the back of that walk in fridge is a shelf with some imports that aren’t in any of the doors. That part is nice but it seems that not everyone thinks to look in there since there are some pretty old bottles in there. They have a ton of beer. Everything from Evil Twin and Mikkeller to locals to Bruery and AleSmith. I could have spent several hundred dollars trying the beers I hadn’t had before but I wasn’t all that interested in $15 singles of some new unproven brewery. Service was attentive, prices were decent, and they have an interesting assortment of glassware in the back. Would return.
A large, old liquor store in downtown Boulder. Good selection of craft beer and imports, occasionally have a few relatively rare beers. Staff is alright, used to be a lot better before they lost much of their beer staff. Haven’t been going as much recently.
Not much to look at from the outside and it’s your typical grocery-sized beer, wine, and liquor store with nothing but shelves of beverages. Staff seemed nice, but they never left the registers while I was there. The beer selection definitely makes up for the ambiance and service (not that those things are that important when talking about a beer store). As others have mentioned the standout here is the amount of space dedicated to single bottles, which even come with a 20% discount off each if you buy 6 or more. Great way to try a variety of beers without having to commit to a 6-pack. Seems like a good one-stop-shop if you’re in Boulder.
Good selection, most limited releases don’t even make it on the shelves and no one there will seem to tell you what is hiding in the back as most of the employees end up buying the goods before they get on the shelves. higher prices than most big value liquor stores too.
Looks like a supermarket except they sell liquor. Liquir is definitely the thing here although they had a ton of coolers for six packs plus two very long shelves of bombers. They have a fantastic selection of Colorado and California craft plus a fairly decent Belgian selection and an adequate Scandinavian section. They also have Sam Adams Utopia in case you know someone who wants to give you a massive gift.
Great store. Grab a shopping cart and fill it with some of their 290 different micros! Understandably the brands are mostly US, but local beer geeks may also sample some bottles from Haandbryggeriet. Nogne O and Mikeller at a lower price than I can at home.
Helpful and knowledgable staff.
