still a college hangout after being taken over by Red’s (and there faaaantastic chicken wings). I’m getting too old for that crowd, but there is solid beer and food to be had here.

Cool place, cabin feel. A nice big tap list, surprisingly I’ve had all of them. We had a few appetizers and a few beers, happy hour prices were good. Located across the street from UNR.

Had this place recommended to us by the fine folks at Buckbean. Definitely the longest line of taps we’ve found so far in Reno: New Belgium regulars, Deschutes, Rogue, DFH 60-minute, etc. Locals included Great Basin Icky and Buckbean Orange Blossom (both Reno/Sparks-based brewers). The highlight for me was the Sierra Nevada specialties: Brown Ale, Crystal Weizen, Blonde, Brown Saison, Oktoberfest, etc. Forty-five taps, good barbecue, and a college and football-centric crowd that made me feel like I was back in Pittsburgh, in a good way. Bartender knew his stuff, giving samples and suggestions..
