Visited a few times. I liked this place. A pretty basic taproom with lots of plywood in evidence in the construction. No frills but appealing. Beers, not surprisingly are from London Fields in cask, keg & bottle. I’ve not been here since the brewery’s well-publicised troubles so I don’t know whether the place is still open.
Visited the 5th January 2016 - Modern place with a nice decoration. Selection is made with beers from the brewery with the particularity with the choice between cask and tap for the beers and that’s great. Service is ok and price is ok also for London. Beers are fine. Good place at all.
Visited when researching my app. The brewery people were helpful and nice. Since Ben has left it’s changed a lot. The beers were not good at all unfortunately and I had to have several mints and a whole pint at BrewWharf to change a terrible off-flavour from a bad beer. A good spot to kill half an hour but don’t expect amazing beers.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon with Fergus and Colin. The place was absolutely rammed when visiting, it was already very busy but then we had a visiting stag party on a beer tasting so had to vacate our seats to them which were hard enough to obtain beforehand.
The beer was good quality and value, will return again (at a hopefully quieter time) :-)
Very nice place, good crowd on a Friday evening, lots of choice in both tap and cask beers, some good non alcoholic drinks for the wife. Onion rings were delicious as well, with a good hot sauce with it. Service was very friendly. I got to try quite a few beers, and I met the brewer (a young German guy). Nice atmosphere, would definitely come again.
